We read the reviews in TripAdvisor....and they were right on. The place doesn't look great from the outside but the interior has been redone and it is beautiful, large and busy. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. He was not only proud of the food but happy to explain everything about it. The flavours are amazing and delicious. Dinner... More

We took 5 people here with reservations and as soon as we sat down the waiter stated pushing a set table assortment. He said we needed 2 and it would be $150 plus we would need to order other items we wanted. We did not take it and found our bill was less. We got 5 starters and 5 mains.... More

I along with two friends dined at this restaurant for lunch during a VERY Busy lunch hour. Nonetheless, we were seated promptly and were greeted professionally by our server. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived as ordered. The food was absolutely delicious and was reasonably priced considering the city and the location within the city. The restaurant... I try to eat at Lebanese Taverna every time I come to DC on business. The food never disappoints. They have enough vegetarian options to keep meals interesting. I'm a big fan of the usual middle eastern staples such as hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabouli. The pumpkin kibbeh was quite tasty. The wine list is good, and a dry white... More

That's it. Based on all the accolades had high expectations left thinking really? Baba Ganoush and Spanakopita appetizers were good. Hal's deboned chicken with garlic sauce was tender, moist and flavorful. Still looking for veggies all potatoes. The shrimp good as well. The pilaf was not pillaf light and fluffy. It was a dense over tomatoed mass or glob that... More

Friendly and cheerful service, nice ambiance, not high end, but hits the right note in terms of value and delivery. We were four and ordered a sampler platter which was delivered on a very nice plate with a spot for each item; only problem was, it really wasn't designed for each of us to try each item on the platter,... From the hot & cold appetizers to the main course and finally dessert, it was absolutely a great experience! We were in a big group celebration among family and friends with ages from 13 to 56 and everybody was happy. The hummus and tabouleh were great and so was the beet salad. From the hot appetizers we were served, I... More

This was located very close to our hotel so we just strolled in without a reservation. The food was authentic and felt really home grow. Staff were really attentive and everything came out as ordered and timely. The food portions were large so I would recommend sharing dishes. I particularly loved the hummus sampler and the lamb kebabs. Would return.

Excellent food, pleasant professional service, nice decor, reasonable prices. I ended up here 3 nights in a row while staying at the Marriott Wardman.

Come see our new look with a contemporary feel in a refined setting with subtle touches of a Lebanese home. We've added seats to the bar and a new lounge too! Still great for groups of all sizes and the private room now seats 56 people. Located in walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotels and directly across the street from the Woodley Park Metro station, our DC location is ideal for corporate and social events. Validated self-parking is also available in the garage directly behind the restaurant. The Cedar Room accommodates up to 60 people for a private seated event and 40 people for a standing reception. For smaller affairs, the room can be offered as a semi privately as well. The main dining room is also available for larger parties.
