At one time in my lifetime, German was the largest ancestral ethnic background of Americans. Yet, German restaurants are not as prolific as they once were. This place brings back memories of the good old days! As soon as you walk into the dining room,...More

Excellent authentic German food, seasonal too as our table split 1 lb for fresh asparagus as April is asparagus season. Food was dolled out in large tasty portions. Substations were encouraged and we all swapped out side dishes for our favorites - red apple sauerkraut...More

What a lovely little restaurant serving the most wonderful German cuisine. We started with the pork liver pate—so delicious! And the smoked trout—my personal favorite! And the beet salad with red and white cabbage—fresh and delicious. My friend and I shared all that as well...More

My husband is part German and while not my favorite cuisine, this restaurant does an amazingly authentic job. First, the atmosphere so closely mimics a German restaurant in Bavaria, it's incredible. The food tastes just like our "mutti" makes. The hot gluhwine is just what...More

The zigeuner schnitzel was terrific. Hadn’t had any since my tour of duty in Germany 30 years ago. It was just as it should have been. My wife had the Jagerschnitzel and it was truly authentic as well. Nice quaint restaurant. Make a reservation and...More
