Saw this place on Burgers, Brew, and Que. So I had high hopes. I ordered the mixed rib platter. Meaning 1 beef rib and 2 pork ribs. Along with Baked Beans and Texas Corn Pudding. The ribs were good but not great. Far from the best. The Backed Beans were vere good and the Texas Corn Pudding was excellent. Overall... More

it kind of amazes me how they can so dependably always produce really delicious barbecued ribs. In addition their sides of Caesar salad, potato salad and coleslaw are also dependably fresh and delicious. The prices are fair and the staff friendly and more than accommodating. You really can't ask for more than that.

We enjoyed the BBQ chicken breast sandwich and the rack o ribs Also, they have very good and spicy wings We skipped the sides(they looked great from BBQ beans to mac &a cheese) but opted for the hand cut fries which were made to order and outstanding If on Wisconsin st looking for q... Tried the triple platter so we could try more than one meat. All were very good. Good BBQ sauce. All the meat was tender. Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced. A good place to try out.

Large portions for the price! Meats were pretty good. Slaw and Stew were certainly different than any I'd had before. Service was prompt and friendly.

My family loves this place. Their BBQ brisket is decidedly smoky which we really like. Their beans and corn pudding are pretty good. The folks working here are very friendly and wrapped w everything up for carry out so nothing leaked. Rocklands is not cheap as others have indicated but it worth the price.

We dream about the baby back ribs at Rocklands. Have been in Boston for 7 years and can't find anything comparable. We always do a takeout- like Bonnie and Clyde --my husband sits in the car and I run in to pick up the order. Have never EVER been disappointed. Staff is so friendly that I end up adding things... Visited on a Tuesday for lunch. The lunch time special is good value for money but the establishment does not do anything for me. The food is acceptable but there is no wow and you get the feeling it is mass produced. They take 'no thrills' to a new dimension. If you are in to basic bar-b-a and 'spit and... More

Solid BBQ - but nothing worth going out of your way for. Smoked on-site, bit higher prices than what's worth it. They now have a dining room - did not used to before.

We've been serving our wood-only barbeque to loyal DC-area fans since 1990. The story starts before that, though: John Snedden started barbequeing whole pigs when he was in college. (Aren't we all glad he changed his plans and did not become a doctor?)
