I read the review of this place by other diners, and had concerns about the service ahead of time. However, the service and staff were as good as I've had. The wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, offered good suggestions when asked. The ice cold martini and lovely raw oysters came seconds apart. The bread basket contains a great selection. The... Good selections and excellent, attentive service, but seems a bit overpriced for the venue. Good bar options among a variety of beers, wines and spirits, and interesting small plate dessert options. The wood-fired oven pizzas are particularly tasty.

Started with range’s gin fizz - gin, cream, vanilla, citrus, egg white; tasty and just weet enough. A good palate cleaser haha. As we waited for the main courses, we had the honey buttermilk biscuits with pepper jelly; just enough heat with warm fluffy and buttery bread.I went with prawns and a salad, and really enjoyed the freshness of both

This restaurant is very exquisite. Modern chic and the food is a bit on the pricey side but very good. Great date restaurant.

The food at range was above average but not in the "Very Good" category. Our assorted pastries were very good but main course--the brisket hash was just okay. The portions were small and the service wasn't great. We did the bottomless brunch and our waiter was not around enough to keep our mimosa glasses full.

Had great experience here on previous occasions. Was disappointed this time with food and service. Manager did adjust the bill based on our feedback.

This restaurant wants to play in a category (somehow pricy) for which it is not up to the required standards. It was my first (and probably last) time at Range. The ambiance was rather "cold" and A/C was definitely too low for winter (to the point where I had to eat with a coat on). By the way, the restaurant... More

we hit here if we are in the area. Never crowded. Great service...and everything is so fresh. We started with warm, buttery biscuits with a sweet pepper jam. Next we had the fresh cold prawns, a great choice of sauces with them. Their kale Ceasar is a great and hearty twist....you can taste just enough sardine. Also tried the house... More

I was visiting DC for a long weekend recently and had the opportunity to try this restaurant twice in short succession (both dinners). Bottom line verdict: a creative menu, mostly very well-executed, and comfortable ambience, but marred by entirely avoidable service glitches. The two different servers we had were both excellent ... once they found us, which on one occasion... More

I have been to Range several times over the years and continue to be impressed by the quality and originality of the food. We never tire of this place and have always enjoyed excellent food and service.
