TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE WAITRESS. THEY DO NOT ACCEPT ROOM CHARGE We are staying at the Westin for 10 weeks for corporate training. We only chose this restaurant because it is ADVERTISED on the Westin's website and were tired of eating at THE CAUCUS every night....More

My wife and I came here because we're staying in the hotel and wanted to relax after a play at the kennedy center. The food and service were ok, the decor was excellent, but it needed something. Seriously quiet for 10pm on a Satureday night.

After my business meetings I stopped in here for dinner. The chicken soup is good and they have a nice Latino take on mussels Josephine. The chorizo adds some spice to the broth.

This is probably the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been in my life. Inedible and tasteless food.

We had a drink at the bar and came back a couple of hours for dinner. This is a tapas restaurant and the salad is big enough to shore. The ahi tuna tacos are excellent and the South American steak with rice and beans equally...More

We should have known better when we tried to get into the other restaurant of the Westin hotel and they said Boveda offered both french and Mexican menus. The place was completely empty, which should have been our first cue to leave. There was no...More

I ate dinner at the bar one evening: chips and guac plus short rib tacos. They were good if not outstanding. The wine by the glass was similarly drinkable but not particularly interesting.

The fresh guacamole and chips were delicious! I also loved the chicken with fries and rice. The pair went great together and it was well seasoned. The servers were friendly and fast.

After a night out in DC, we weren’t ready to crash, so had a drink and a few bites to eat and were quite pleased. Good South American choices. We had empanadas and I had a Peruvian Pisco Sour to drink. Good service and not...More

Boveda - which literally means vault- is a Latin Speakeasy located in the West End neighborhood of Georgetown. Properly chaotic, casual, and affordable, Boveda is the clandestine destination for vibrant eclectic music, unique cocktails, and inspired modern Latin American dishes. Diners may enjoy various seating areas within the intimate space including raised booths, banquettes, communal tables, a lounge, a neighborhood bar, and a tavern-esque private area. This hidden gem reveals reclaimed wood ceilings and floors, Spanish pewter lanterns with filigree detailing, large antique mirrors, field stone walls, and vintage Cuban floor tiles. Private dining available as well.
