Lost in town, with all these fancy restaurants busy on Friday night. Came in here and sat at bar, super nice bartender, fantastic and speedy food. Can't complain. Saved my night, 5 star

Great little restaurant - super attentive waiters, tables far enough apart that you don't hear them and a really nice wine list, to go with their very tasty. Our favorites were the gnocchi and the cauliflower. Plate sizes are perfect for sharing with friends.

Located close to the Four Seasons, we walked over for a quiet dinner. Food was delicious. We shared the roasted cauilflower starter and then I enjoyed the roasted organic chicken (Shenandoah Valley Farms breast and herbed leg medallions with jus of olives, capers, dried fruit with roasted fingerling potatoes. My husband ordered sesame crusted norwegian salmon risotto with edamame, shiitake... More

We stopped in for dinner for 2- we got a table at the front (9pm on a Wednesday and they were busy). Service was good. We chose small portions and enjoyed to heritage tomato salsa, gazpacho , braided beef on pasta and clams with cod. We also had the roasted olives. Dessert was a bit plain, but overall we were... My husband and were visiting. We were just looking around when we met a neighborhood couple. They told us to go there. We did have a hard time finding it, but definitely worth the hunt. Low and behold we didn't have a reservation. Unum was wonderful. They managed to get us a table. Our meal was delicious. We both had... More

My wife and I always go to Unum when we are in DC. Five stars for the bar, the drinks are always original and the bartender is among the best I have seen. The place is undeniably intimate and cool. We love sharing appetizers and half portions, including the lamb and steak. Our favorite is the chorizo stuff squid. The... More

While in town met with two friends. Great wine selections, great service, very creative menu allowed 1/2 plates. All around great dinner.

Unum is a great little spot in the heart of Georgetown with a wonderfully fresh, seasonal menu. I was there on business - it's walking distance from the nearby Graham Hotel - and my colleagues and I enjoyed sharing various small plates. Lots of options to satisfy a diverse group.

Probably the best fish we have ever had. We dine out often, in NYC and NJ, so we have enjoyed many great meals, but the grilled Branzino we had an Unum was one of the most memorable dishes ever! It is absolute perfection. The fish itself was crusted on the outside, and moist on the inside. The celery root puree... More
