The liquor choices are spectacular but make sure you eat before going. Most of the food is WAY too salty to really enjoy it. The safest bet is the charcuterie platter.

This is my favorite bar on planet Earth. If you even like whiskey and are in the DC area, you need to go here. Bill Thomas, owner and proprietor has a wealth of knowledge and is great to chat Bourbon. You can tell he has...More

The drinks are great and it feels like a whiskey bar. The bar staff is helpful in suggesting a bottle from the 3,000 available. The restaurant side is less exciting. Service is poor and the food extremely salty. 5 star bar + 1star restaurant =...More

Wow does this place have an extensive variety of bourbons, scotches and whiskies! Our bartender informed us that the total list of bottles to choose was approaching 1,000. My husband enjoyed a classic old fashioned with Four Roses, small batch reserve. I myself not a...More

This is a fabulous restaurant that has an amazing assortment of bourbons, scotch and whisky. I went for the bourbon experience--but the food was fantastic. I had the bone in rib eye—and it was fantastic! It will compare to any “top of line” nationally recognized...More

We arrived to a packed bar on a Saturday night around 9pm. We came for drinks only because we are taking a trip to Scotland and wanted to check out some Speyside whiskies. We requested a table and despite not having reservations, we were seated...More

Wings. Wings. Wings. Did I mention the wings? I was a big fan of them and highly recommend them. Make sure to ask for some ranch or blue cheese though as they definitely need them.

It is striking when you walk into this place. It’s a massive space and every inch of the wall was covered in liquor (primarily whisk(e)y). It boasts the largest selection of whisky in the western hemisphere. We were there this Saturday night and it was...More
