We are spending a week in DC and have had some wonderful food but the best was last night at District Kitchen. They offer small and large portions on many selections so we had three small portions of mussels, seared shrimp and polenta and a...More

So this was seriously one of the best burgers in I've had in years. Unpretentious place. Trendy. Near the zoo. Prices were commensurate with DC, maybe even a little on the reasonable side, for a trendy neighborhood gastropub.

I had the burger and fries and found them to be good but salty. The prices are reasonable and the service is good.

Spent the day at the National Zoo and visited District Kitchen, just a few blocks away, for a bite to eat at lunchtime. I ordered a roasted pear and burrata salad, my husband ordered the smoked turkey sandwich, and we split an order of french...More

Restaurant was suggested by concierge at Omni Shoreham and it did not disappoint. All of our appetizers and entrees were excellent. Great place for casual dinner out with great food and service!

Had the crab appetizer, mussels, and blackberry mojitos. Service was great, attentive but not rushed. Decent spot to sit outside on a nice evening. Would go again. The mojitos were great.

Visited for the first time for brunch. Seated quickly by a nice host. Waiter was very friendly and efficient. Large menu and a bar . Specials every day. Eggs Benedict with salmon was delicious served with yummy potatoes. Will eat there again.

Staying at the Omni Shoreham and wandered to District Kitchen on a Sunday night. There were 2 of us and only maybe 6 tables full which was surprising. Food came quickly and was very good. I had a half order of mac and cheese and...More

It was fairly loud in there at dinner time, hard floors and high ceilings. A small table for two should be ok, but we had a large table of eight and it was hard to hear the folks at the other end.
