Jetties is a cute, Nantucket-style deli located in the Cathedral Commons neighborhood of D.C. We stopped in while walking our dog, and enjoyed a quick chicken salad sandwich and blueberry ice cream. The sandwich was good, but it took a very long time. The service wasn't super pleasant, but it was busy, and the single cashier was clearly overwhelmed. The... More

There are several Jetties around the DC area. They are order at the counter with salad and sandwich choices, which are very good. They also have ice cream and cookies. Make sure you choose the cookies that have pieces of Oreo cookies within them, they are really good, but they don't always have them in stock. This is also good... More

I like the juices. Alway fulfilling and good. The people there are friendly. I always see some students come in for sandwiches, etc.

Jetties used to have a bakery here, as well as sandwiches and housemade ice cream. Alas, the bakery is gone. The sandwiches are Ok and the ice cream is still first-class.

After trying 5 crowded area restaurants, we stumbled across Jetties before a concert at the National Cathedral. All 3 of us ordered the Thanksgiving sandwich. It was seriously fantastic. Service was quick and very friendly. Little seating, but we snagged it.

Jetties has a amazing sandwich called the nobadeer! It is like eating Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich. It is Roasted turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce and mayonnaise on sourdough! I have not tired any other because we only visit DC about twice a year. Something sweet that is in the same place has wonderful cupcakes and cakes! We always... More

We recently spent two months in Washington visiting family. I know, I know visitors and fish smell bad after 3 days. But anyway, Jetties Something Sweet quickly became a favourite. The sandwiches are outstanding. They are fresh and well made. But the cake! They have a rotating list of cakes that change over the week. What ever you get, at... More

We didn't get to try out the amazing-looking cupcakes, but were very pleased with sandwiches for a quick lunch. Great kids menu and some outdoor benches. Limited indoor seating, so on a bad weather day, should be limited to take out.

Pros: Has fresh baked sweets. Ice cream can be put in a freshly made cone. Cons: Minimal variety in ice cream flavors and sweets choices. Summary: I did not try their salads or sandwiches but this place is not worth going out of your way for if you want something sweet. If you are already nearby it's good enough to... More

the Thanksgiving sandwich called the Nobadeer (turkey, stuffing, cranberry) is wonderful. I get it at least once a month.
