glamorous and elegant place in DC the location is quite iconic, setting is very chic, plates and silverware are very elegant, drink menu is extensive. The service was very attentive. We loved every bit of the evening from the amuse bouche till the luch.

Let's be absolutely clear to begin with, this is, unarguably, an expensive Restaurant (Dinner + Wines here will cost you more than twice what you will pay in any other very-good/excellent venue in DC) - but there's a reason : they offer not just an...More

This is the way elegant dining should be. Not rushed. Attentive service. Highest quality food. Quiet. Lovely atmosphere. The 3 course meal plus sweet finale is plenty. In addition, you are given several tiny samples of chef's choices between courses. Worth every penny.

The environment is elegant and sound level is comfortable. The fixed price menu has interesting variety with each course presented with beauty and flare. Several small plate surprises and complimentary beverages blended the main plates into a continuous dining experience. Delightful.

I would say since this is a fish specialty restaurant, there should be plenty of dishes on the menu that do not have cheese in or on it and you can opt out of any pasta dishes. Very easy to do here PLUS they cater to you... More
