Seven of us enjoyed dinner at Paolo's recently. We had mixed opinions regarding our entrees. The Saffron Salmon received excellent reviews from two members of our party. The huge Lamb Shank was well received by one person. He took some of it home. I was not all that crazy about my Seafood Risotto. I received one shrimp, three small mussels... More

Heard a lot about this restuarant; stepped in when we saw it. Overated - place had a certain smell, food was not great. Disappointing.

Comfort is paramount. Who is the genius who picked the most uncomfortable chairs in the galaxy to dine on. Maybe if you're a kid but for an adult OMG! Prices are moderate, the atmosphere fine. The wine by the glass was disliked by all and the cocktails weak. Please add some gin to my tonic! Mixed reviews on food and... More

Sometimes when you're hot and thirsty and pick a place just to sit down, you don't expect much. But that's when the best surprises come! Paolo's was one of those nice surprises. The service was excellent. After quickly chugging our way through two iced tea and soda refills, we were presented with their table bread basket, which was a truly... More

Georgetown on its own is wonderful, but sitting outside at Paolo's in the evening spring sun definitely added to it. Such a nice experience. Staff is super friendly, smily and welcoming. Food was delicious (-and worth the waiting). The complimentary breadsticks are not something you want to say no to!

We were a very large group (17)...which made us difficult to deal with. Although we had a reservation, we had to split into two groups to be accommodated, which made conversation difficult. Mixed reviews on the food...some like it, some felt a little bland. Service was very good.

My wife and I treated our niece to an early dinner at Paolo's Ristorante. Traditionally designed restaurant with doors leading to the patio for an al fresco experience. In a nice Sunday afternoon, this is an ideal place to hang out for dinner. We ordered fried Calamari which I say one the best I had experience. Crunchy outside, soft and... More

The very first Paolo's found its home in historic Georgetown in the 1980's, and has been a Georgetown staple ever since.

The bustling ristorante has become a corner fixture in this centuries old melting pot amongst politicians, travelers, shoppers and students.

Dine outside and watch the world go by, or sit inside and watch your pizza being prepared in our fabulous brick oven, and most of all - enjoy! Located in the heart of Georgetown, Paolo's serves fine Cal-Italian cuisine full of exciting pizzas and exquisite pastas.
