This was ok - but usually I find this steak chain to be very good. This time, it wasn't really on top form - the steak was a little cool but not cool enough to send back. With a few beers and sides, it came to $103 before gratuities which is getting a bit steep for something that doesn't stand... More

The gal who welcomed us was so busy but still made us feel important. Once seated our server, Bill C, was wonderful and really our evening special. The food was amazing and they suprized us with a... It's a really big deal when your rated the #2 restaurant in DC and have to perform that way everyday. Especially when we're in our Uber on the way to our dinner reservation with windows slightly open and the smells from all the downtown steak houses coming in the car remind you how many choices for steak there are in... I have eaten here dozens of times and never been disappointed. The steaks and sides are great, as you would expect from a high end steakhouse. However, do not hesitate to try the Seafood choices. The Tuna entree is one of my favorites. The calamari prepared with peppers is as good as any fried calamari. The crab cakes are a... More

An elegant steak restaurant located near the National Gallery of Art and Newseum, this favorite of the city's powerful offers a relaxed environment with top quality steaks. Portions are generous and the wine list is varied, to include the opportunity to purchase single glasses of rare vintages. Our primary server Michael F. was a text book professional. Friendly, attentive, engaging... More

Service was over the top. Server had extensive knowledge of wines and her recommendation was outstanding with my chosen meal. The dry-aged porterhouse was the best steak I have ever eaten and it was cooked to perfection. A bit on the expensive side, but worth the treat! Atmosphere was elegant and comfortable.

We were on a trip to DC and decided to spend our evening at the Capital Grill. After making reservations, we were pleasantly greeted and seated at a table for two. Unfortunately the tables were very close together since this was a special evening for couples and hampered personal discussion. However the environment was inviting and our waiter was fabulous.... My husband had his work seminar for couple of days in downtown and I took the days off from work for the opportunity to visit DC for the first time. I found this restaurant with good reviews and I booked a reservation three days in advance. Cozy and great ambience. We started off with their creamy and rich clam chowder... More

Service is EXCELLENT and professional. Bartenders make the classiest cocktails. Food is ALWAYS amazing and worth every penny of the price. Park in the public parking garage 1 block away with ease. Awesome view of the Capitol. This is where I go for any holiday or special occasion meal to indulge in the finer things in life.
