The service is outstanding, from time time you enter and are greeted by the Maitre D' until your waiter brings the check. To BAD we can't say the same about the meal. Our Entrees of choppino, seared monk fish, we're so salty that they were inedible. Roasted Broccoli was burnt and salty as well. A side dish of Roasted Brussels... More

Disappointing to say the least. Today is Ash Wednesday and we asked the waiter about the Monkfish dish and he let us know it had pork in it so we said we can't have pork today for lent. We asked about the Rockfish and he said there was no meat. So that's what we ordered. However they brought the Monkfish... More

As always, we were greeted like friends by Michael and seated in the main dining area, which is quiet enough for adult conversation. The fried olives and veal tartar were interesting and delicious. We enjoyed our mains--monkfish and venison. The desserts were the right size to end an enjoyable meal, without being stuffed. Jared was an excellent server. There are... More

Waiter not real friendly, arrogant. Venison just fair. Most dishes needed seasoning. Fish entree was over cooked. Had to ask for lemon to give some flavor

First let me say the service was excellent. The food had a lot of potential. Both my meal and my wife's was overly salty. I said to her that I may as well just throw salt in my mouth. I had the risotto which was cooked perfectly but the salt was overboard. Matter of fact, I drank an entire bottle... More

I was in Washington for work and went out for dinner by myself. I found Bibiana near the hotel and it was delightful. I chose from the fixed price menu, three courses for $35 plus wine. I had fish and a duck confit and a fabulous desert. The wine list runs expensive but with assistance from the sommelier I selected... More

We tried the $35 prefixe . Wife's risotto was perfect as were my gnocchi and there were plenty of other choices for main courses, appetizers and desserts. Wine prices a bit high but this is in center city so that is to be expected. Service was attentive and polite. Valet parking is $8 which is moderate for DC.

I was 2:45 pm and I was starving. I finally made it to Bibiana. I sat on the bar, where the bartender, whose name I cannot remember - a Farsi speaking Afghani, extremely nice and well educated with a degree from George Washington U. in DC, who has not seen his American dream come true - took care of me... We visited three times over the past year, and each time someone got served a disappointing dish. This time, the Risotto was excellent, the Cioppino (fish stew) had a strange flavor and could not be finished (all three of us tasted it), and the panzotti lacked flavor. We were asked how we liked the food and gave honest feedback. 5... More

This is a very good Italian place that has a very good lunch special. They offer a good selection of pizza and pasta and the service is quick. The ambience is good, very quiet and the decoration is very chick
