This restaurant is located near the National Police Memorial. There is nothing "glowing" to write about this experience except that is was good and inexpensive.

This is not your typical Washington restaurant. It is open for breakfast and lunch with a changing selection of hot food, custom sandwiches and a salad bar. Standouts are the soup, ask for a sample, and sandwiches made with fresh roasted turkey and ham to order. It has a local feel and definitely not tourist prices.I can eat lunch here... More

My husband I jumped off the metro starving before our visit to some art galleries downtown DC. We used trip advisor and found this little gem within a few feet of where we were. Delicious and fresh food prepared right in front of you! Fresh carved turkey and ham. Great choice! Thanks trip advisor for the great recommendation for a... More

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the law enforcement memorial nearby. Great sandwiches made with fresh ingredients, right before your eyes. I got the club sandwich, and watched as the turkey and ham were carved in front of me. Sandwiches were great and prices were low for what you got. I would return.

What a gem in the city. Great breakfast for casual meal in the neighborhood. Not fancy. Just eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc. the mission statement will bring us back. -Quality food and service -training the unemployed -Community services Certainly worth supporting.

Very interesting local place that helps the community homeless. We ate the small breakfast from the buffet and it was good and very reasonable.

We went to this restaurant for breakfast since they advertised pancakes and waffles from their window and it was down the street from our hotel. Literally everything we ate was bad. Bad pancakes (hard and flat), waffles, syrup (so fake all you could taste were chemicals), not a normal hot tea to be found and not even decent coffee. Even... More

This is my go-to spot since I work at the building next door. I usually go for breakfast and I usually order the omelet...and it's usually pretty good. They have different hot food menu everyday, sandwiches and made-to-order pasta for lunch. I usually get the made-to-order pasta for lunch which is really good everytime I get it. It's a pretty... I have been eating at new course and getting coffee from them every day for the last five years, since my office is a block away. The people are terrific, the food is great, and the money goes to a good cause to help people who need it. They fresh roast turkeys every day, and their sandwiches are unbeatable. Breakfast... More

We spotted the New Course, which walking sightseeing through DC. The service behind the food bar was a little crowded but we felt very welcome and treated nicely. We had the Tuscany sandwich, turkey breast and veggie sandwich. All ingredients were freshly cut and I have to say that this was one of the best sandwiches I had in a... More
