I ate here twice as the breakfasts were so good. First time I had avocado on toast with a soft boiled egg. Delicious - though the avocado could have been a big more generously spread. The egg was nice and softly booked as promised. Coffee was good - served in bowls with no handles. The grapefruit juice was good. The... More

I had the Belgian chocolate brownie and it was very good. My friend got the giant chocolate chip cookie and it was kind of disappointing.

The cab drivers of DC know their stuff. We were going to the Spy Museum and asked the cab driver for his recommendation. He brought us to Le Pain Quotidien and warned us that it was pricey. I didn't find it pricey for a breakfast place, especially considering that much of the food was organic and they had vegan options.... More

It's a quaint and lovely cafe. I enjoyed the brioche french toast. The staff is very friendly and the food tasty. A great breakfast spot.

Consistent service Place every time. We had the waffle with berries and cream and the soft boiled egg( was a little overdone) with bread. Always consistent anywhere in the country you go. Very nice and attentive staff and manager. He stopped several times on our table to make sure everything was alright. Great location in Georgetown.

It's light fare: delightful tartines (open-faced sandwiches), delicious organic (and usually a nice vegan) soups, baguettes and classic sandwiches and a variety of great, organic salads served in a very nice communal table setting. Very popular with the local Spring Valley set and the many visitors to the NW location on Mass Avenue. Delicious fresh baked breads accompany every meal... More

There are a few Pain Quotidians in the D.C. area and exactly 0 in Atlanta. (Please change this Pain Quotidian corporate). We love solid, unpretentious healthy options and PQ fits the bill when we are in DC for x-mas week. The family house is packed with every delicious, but unhealthy option on earth and sometimes you just have to break... More

This is nice quality but the selection is often minimal. There are numerous other bakeries within a few blocks that offer greater choice. I don't know why the US locations are so often understocked.

We visited the bakery on New Years at the location on 17th street for a relaxing breakfast and it was highly disappointing. I ordered the smoked salmon breakfast with a soft boiled egg. When I cracked open the egg, it spilled out clear liquid and runny yolk. I know what a soft boiled egg is, this was completely raw. I... More

This place has such an appeal to it - from the looks, the food and the menu. There's a fantastic chicken sausage omelette that my husband had for breakfast that was yummy! The french toast is also very good. Not cheap, but mid-range and very fresh.....lots of yummy pastries and bread. Wonderful place to stop on a cold chilly day.... More
