Proprietor Peter Schoni is a most gracious host at this delightful cafe, right on the waterfront, watch the boats and the world pass by before you while you eat delicious food and great wines. Music is a regular event, too.

The most delicious smoked fish sandwich to take away, I have ever had. You can order in advance, as we did, to take on The Mail Boar tour. Moist fillings, great home baked bread and so tasty. Others with me had Bacon & Mushroom also delicious. Then dinner eaten outside at one of their tables overlooking the waterfront and harbour.... More

If there is such a thing as a hipster place in Picton this is it. They are on the pricey side. . . but it is a nice treat.

We arrived, given menu and you then order at the counter and they bring it to you when it's ready. We had beef skewers with salad and garlic bread chimchurra sauce and it was well presented and tasted good. A good stop for lunch

This is a superb cafe overlooking the lovely gardens that grace Picton's waterfront. We came here for morning tea while we waited for the ferry to depart. Coffee was excellent, and the food delicious. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Definitely recommend this cafe.

Cause this is the area, especially Havelock, you have to take the huge green lips mussel. Absolutely fantastic and together with the great ambiance, jazzy music and perfect view on the bay, Le Cafe is the place to eat it. The winelist in this area is a hard to choose from, tried 2 different glasses and they were both excellent.

The owner here, and the rest of the staff are all wonderful. They went above and beyond helping me find somewhere to stay when i arrived. Letting me leave my bags behind in the restaurant while i went and looked around. I Have been back for lunches and coffee. The coffee is fantastic! They can get busy, so just be... More

We had lunch at this café just down from the War Memorial on the waterfront. It is part bar with tapas but also a great spot for lunch/ dinner with a small quartet playing jazz if you are lucky. We had a selection of small plates between the three of us -some kingfish carpaccio, a smoked fish pate, some estabeche... More

Three of us popped in at around 4pm before catching our ferry. We ordered some basic food from the lunch menu (pasta, beef & couscous salad, tomato salad) and a couple of wines. While the food and wine was nice, the portions were not huge and we found that for $90 for what was a quick lunch, it was extremely... More
