Friendly staff and good outdoor seating. Fish was beautiful - however very very expensive feed of fish & chips for a family of 4. I live in Auckland and it was double what we would normally pay!!!. No lemon pieces given with fish but able to buy tartare & tomato sauce from in store. The kids meal deal not bad... More

Stopped by here for lunch after spending some time kayaking with the dolphins. Very popular spot! Decent sized servings, reasonably-priced, and the fish was really fresh! Complimentary access to WiFi a plus for travelers.

They occupy a prime spot on Beach Road with nice views of the harbour. The fish and chips are what you would expect - well cooked with a good range of fish choices available.

We had fish and chips for dinner sitting outside on a wonderful evening. The food was good especially the blue cod. A good meal in a great location.

This seems to be a must do in Akaroa - local fish and chips. Served up to be eaten at tables near the harbour.

We stopped in for lunch and had their lunch special for $15. It included fish, chips, sauce, and drink. The chips were great and the fish was good also. Nice view of water from porch.

I have never been disappointed here. If you don't mind waiting in the queue, the food is great. Portion sizes are awesome for a very reasonable price. The food isn't too greasy and tastes fresh. A must do if you are in Akaroa!

A variety of fish and chip meals, along with other fish dishes, including fish chowder and mussels are featured here. Lots of other choices, including burgers and other fish dishes give the customer many other options for a quick and satisfying meal. While there we spoke to several people in their 70's who remember eating here when they were much... More

Although they have hamburgers, chowder and mussels, I recommend the fish and chips, the signature plate. It is large, so if you rent very hungry, you might want to slit it with a companion. You grab a table, order your food, wait for it to be ready and then sit down and enjoy.
