This cafe is said to have the best Fish n Chip in town! Situated at the local attraction area and bays. It has open seating area for dine-in. Obviously we were served with a plate of a large fish fillet n chip + fries. They gave us a packet of chilli & tartar sauce each. But we added a chillies... More

It's not posh, and there're several with proper table service littered along the wharf. Although I like 'em like this as I can pick plenty off the fresh seafood counters. The rest of 'em serves food from the ktichen, and from what I saw (could be wrong) mostly deep fried and grilled. Total cost for 600g Tiger prawns, 1 bowl... More

You can eat inside or outside. We chose outside as you can sit near the harbour and look at all the boats. The fish & chips were cooked freshly on order and you took a small portable hand set that let you knew when your order was ready. The food was very tasty and came with some tartare sauce. The... Was contemplating whether to go to Kailis as we did not like the mess as we expected in Sydney fish market ant this time we were travelling with an infant- went nonetheless. It was crowded but to our surprise everything was so organized. Order, get a buzzer and wit for your food. Selection was great- Deep fried, grilled, boiled or... More

Well, on a cool Thursday night, after a couple of Hot Perth Days, I came here for dinner. There would have been 20 people in the joint. I came here as some previous reviewer mentioned chowder. I wasn't disappointed, creamy tasty, and full of fish pieces. This along with some squid rings, chips and beer, what more could you ask... More

This cafe was recommended to us as the best fish restaurant in Fremantle and it certainly was popular. The food was served quickly after queuing to place an order and we enjoyed a nice WA white wine from the bar with our meal. The fish was cooked perfectly, but the chips were not great. The greek salad purchased separately was... More

Came here to meet family, while we waited we got a bottle of wine, sat and took in the abeniance, it's a busy cafe where you line up to get food, go to another line to get drinks, the same for desserts, I found this a bit odd but I guess that way they are all dedicated to what their... More

After a day visiting the goal and market, we looked forward to lunch so went to Kailis. Rather than order two fish and chip meals, my wife suggested it would be cheaper to order a family meal. A huge "plate" full arrived. SDhe wished we had just ordered one meal, that would have been plenty. Hate to think just how... More
