Visited with a friend on Thursday night seeking food and refreshment. Did not know there was a band on but "wow" what great music, almost a jam session with various "friends" in the audience being invited to join the guys on the stage in playing...More

Clancy's has an extensive menu. The usual pub standards plus some slightly more exotic offerings such as char-grilled occy (octopus). Yum!

Clancy's is somewhat of a tradition in Fremantle, but as the years have gone by it has become more and more expensive. It's really nothing more than a pub serving fancy fish and chips and a few other seafood dishes. Great outdoor area for the...More

We had a family function here recently & everyone loved it. It is great if you have children as the rear patio with tables overlooks a huge grassed area with trees. Our 5 yr old grandson brought his bike & had a great time riding...More

We have been to this place multiple times for staff/friend functions over the last 10 years and every time we have received average to rubbish service and overpriced greasy food. I'm not sure if the staff just hate their jobs; hate the clientele; or are...More

Went to the Shanty evening. Great atmosphere singing along to the sailing ship songs. I had the beer battered fish chips and coleslaw, was all delicious and was a huge portion. I thought the house wine was a bit expensive starting at $32 for the...More

I was after a massive meal and some good beer after a marathon run - boy did Clancy's fit the bill! The local establishment was a great place to meet up with friends and we had an enjoyable afternoon. The only disappointment was a bitter,...More

We spent a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon here. We ordered the seafood platter which was a good size for 2 and it was fresh and tasty. The fish tacos were delicious also. The staff were pleasant and efficient. Nice place to spend the afternoon. Great...More

Went here on the recommendation of our guide from Little Creatures brewery. Very funky place, loved the décor. I had seafood chowder in a bread bowl and my wife had the paella. Both dishes were spot on and full of flavor and seafood. Lots of...More

The original fish pub and leader of the pack, dishing out great beer, tasty treats and fine music since 1996. This true Fremantle icon has been a destination for many a year, welcoming families, corporates, hipsters and all-comers, through the doors of this classic Freo establishment. The first to bedeck the fishy decor and vibrant colours, the first to stock and support local craft beer and wine, and a champion of Fremantle’s rich musical history. From first time acts and school bands, to indie hipsters and world renowned touring acts, samba, dance and local living legends of the music industry. Throw in a quiz night, rock ‘n’ roll bingo and poetry nights, and there is always something happening on the Clancy’s stage. A great pub menu famous for its classic fish and chips and legendary seafood platter, to be enjoyed with a glass of wine or beer while the kids run wild in Princess May Park, adjacent to the pub. Truly a pub for all.
