Great food, great atmosphere

Went for a trip to Hrebienok and waterfalls. Bilikova chalet was on our way. Saw the menu on the way to watrfalls. Decided to have a lunch in the way back. Terrace outside was opened, all waiters were wearing masks. Service was fast, food tasty....Restaurant was full, but did not seem overcrowded. Just nice. Waiter was polite, professional. Young lady who served the food asked also how we enjoyed our meals. Garlic soup with croutons was tasty and hot, main dish had a pork with cabbage and dumplings. Offer of the day. Highly recommended this restaurant for your refreshment while visiting Hrebienok.More

A nice pub

A very nice and pleasant place to have lunch. Very good meals. Wonderful view. Staff nice. Minus was restrooms. Just one for all women in the pub... :(

Mountain hut which is accessible

I stopped here while walking the tatranska magistrala. Good soup and a beer. It's got an outdoor terrace offering good mountain views. Being close to Hrebrionok it gets tourist traffic as well. It's an inexpensive place to stop on your way through the Tatra mountains.

Good simple food in a lovely location

Good simple food, and not expensive, in a nice building (great outdoor terrace) and with good views. In summer, it's the perfect mid point on a long walk.

Nice place, coffee paid extra

We stayed at Bilikova Chata for breakfast only. Place is really nice, good selection of food considering it is mountain shelter. The only disadvantage: coffee from express is paid 2 eur extra.

Great place to stay

Really nice mountain hut, with a perfect location and great views from your room. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food tasty and atmosphere in general was really nice. We are definitely coming back in summer! Thank you guys 😀

Welcoming 'chata' easy to reach

We had a short walk in the cold and windy weather, saw the destruction the forest had suffered by natural disaster years ago. Compared to childhood memories the countryside made me very sad but Bilikova chata with its welcoming atmosphere, delicious food and friendly waiters...made our day.I do recommend the cabbage soup and the pumpkin soup. The building itself, the decoration, the atmosphere make it popular with tourists. It is easy to reach, only some-minutes walk from Hrebienok (funicular).They offer accomodation, too.More

Traditional Tatra hut

Nice traditional mountain hut, that is in winter reachable by foot. Perfect location for climbing tours (ice-climbing) in both nearby vallyes

A little disappointed by the service and attitude

This place has such a beautiful location and it’s decorated with a great style, the food is tasty but the attitude of some of the staff members was really surprising. They don’t really know the “yes I can” so it seems like everything is a...problem for them. Also be aware of minimum spend on the card being 20€! This place has got such a potential!More
