Amazing atmosphere and delicious vegan options !

This was our third time in this restaurant. It's one of our go to places when we go hiking in the mountains. This time the restaurant was extremely lively as there was live music at the place with a singer from Spain I believe. Live music combined with the perfect view of the mountains is just amazing. And don't be afraid to sit outside even during winter, the place has warmers and blankets to keep you cozy. In regards to the food, it is truly delicious. What I really like, as the only vegan in the family, is that there a fantastic vegan options like a poke bowl or my favorite Thai noodles with vegetables. Definitely recommend for a good dinner after a long tiring hike in the mountains!

Live music evening

Together wirh friends we found great place to spent evening after hiking day. Live music, premium gin and tonic and later plate of local cheese and sauseages. We loved it and we definitelly come back again!

Amazing food and beautiful views

This is magnificent place to expand the horizons of the taste buds. Food is beyond amazing, and the signature cocktails are a new experience. The restaurant team is like a family, very friendly and helpful, although not everyone speaks English well, it is possible to get the best experience form the menu. Definitely recommend to go there and have a nice drink and the time when sun is setting.

Disappointing

This is a nice little place situated at one end of the resort. The service is friendly but the food was very disappointing. Perhaps we chose badly. We had Garlic Soup to start which was abundant but lacking and Beef Burgers with fries which were overcooked, poor quality beef and not enjoyable to eat. With a couple of beers and a tip, the final bill came to around €42 or around £38 which is actually expensive for the area.

cool restaurant to choose for dinning once you visiting High Tatra Mountains

Super friendly service was provided while dining at the restaurant, Amazing food served, full of different flavors, nicely presented. From traditional food to modern. Fabulous atmosphere high in the Slovak rocky mountains. Even my Sicilian friends enjoyed it a lot Thank You for your invitation through Instagram It was definitely worth visiting this restaurant. Well done to all your team from management to the kitchen and front-of-house team. We are looking forward to be back soon.

Best place to eat in a town!

We found this place in second half of our visit week. It is located in Stary Smokovec. We visited with three kids and usualy they are the ones who you can measure food quality. Both times they gave 5 stars. Meniu is not too big, but all we tried was just exelent. Cuisine varies from Thai to local to European. Interrior and exterior is also graet. Special real flame heaters make evenings so comfortable! And last but not least was great service! Even if some waiter does not speak perfect english another will come to make sure that order was understood! Thanks and see you next year!

Friendly crew, trendy location, good food

We loved it so much that we came there four times during our stay. - Friendly crew, very accomodating and english speaking - Cosy place with lounge, large family tables, fire places, on a terrace facing the valley, very sunny in the afternoon - Nice menu. Best burgers in town, but also fine traditional food, good salad and unforgettable pancakes with chocolate or raspberry. This has a price, but it's worth it!

Turist trap! Avoid this place.

Were to begin? Let's get straight to the point. Food was overpriced garbage! I mean, see your self on photo I took of Beef tartare that cost around 20 euro. The portion was small for one person. But the size wasn't the worst part. The looks and the taste was much worse. I never had in my life as bad tartare as this one. Just look at the picture, the color of the meat.... Second. The drinks. I mean those overpriced 15 euro coctails, that are looking fantastic, but is just 1 dcl of liquid, that has almost 0 alcohol in it. But hey, it is great looking decoration on the table. What and idea!..You could buy whole bottle of quality Gin for that price. Don't get ripped of like we did. Don't go here. I worned you!

I highly recommend this restaurant. Luxurious and modern interior, friendly service and a wide range of food and drinks. The dishes are made from high-quality ingredients and you will remember their taste for a long time.

Perfect breakfast

Very nice and tasty breakfast, menu is rich and has many options, we order 3 sets and of we could we would take even more. Manager was very meticulous and professional and welcoming. Definetly recommend for a breakfast or a brunch.

Best ribs ever! 😍

Place looked beautiful, so we went there for dinner. Servis was great and funny, place was looking great also on photos and stories, so it’s influencer friendly 😄 And the ribs was outstanding. Probablly best I ever had! 👌😊 So go for it guys, you wont regret a bit!

This restaurant has becomes mediocre

My last visit at this restaurant was a real disappointment. They didn’t have a lot of meals from their menu. This restaurant has a very poor selection of food for people with allergies. If you need gluten free meal or lactose free food you are the truly unfortunate person. Chefs added gluten to almost everything. I could only choose from two choices there. I ordered a tuna and in the end the fish was good. I believe that they will improve the selection of food for people with allergies in the future. This restaurant was excellent and nowadays it has become mediocre.

Hungry Walkers find great restaurant

We came in early June when the season had not started. The only large restaurant open. The place is large modern clean and the drinks menu extensive. The food menu is not large but it does not have to be. The choices are excellent from the curry, the vegan burger, the beef burger and the prawn risotto. Portions are large so go careful on the starters. Extensive list of drinks and cocktails. Just go. The staff were great and spoke English very well.

Phenomenal

Quick friendly service, wonderful food with perfect timing. The menu has both meat and vegetarian options. The Duck thigh with cabbage and pancakes was phenomenal. Beautiful presentation, strong flavors.

Tasty, fast and with a view!

Our family of 8 were so happy to be back to Spitz. The meals were served almost right away, and tasted good as always. We had burgers, ribs, sweet potato french fries and many more. We'll be back for sure.
