Had lunch by the lake. Quick service and nice atmosphere - average prices for the food, a little bit above average for the drinks. Chicken burgers a little over cooked but ok, very good chips and tasty salads. Ļoti garšīgs Cabo Sidrs!

More than 1 hour wait if Food for 2 persons, when it was served, Food was cold! Before there was very great place. I am very dissapointed :(

Nice, somewhat picturesque place for drinks and occasional snacks. That's where it ends, certainly skip this if you're looking for a dinner. The trip is not worth it. Menu. Medium-priced food, with second courses ranging from 6.50 to 15 euros, with few exceptions of higher...price that I am glad we did not order. The food is on canteen or pub food level. Signature starters plate "Cabo" costs some 12 euros and consists of poorly heated frozen products - crab claws, mozzarella sticks, etc. Things go out of kitchen undercooked, still frozen in the middle. Single snack that we were able to enjoy are traditional Latvian garlic breads that were done quite well, and these can be ordered separately and will be perfect with beers. Pastas. Previously cooked and then put into freezer, and then poorly re-heated macaroni served under cheese and different sauces. Microwaved so poorly that even the cheese does not melt. Eatable but without any fragment of joy. Spicy sausages, supposedly cooked on grill. Pushed out quick & cold, not worth the appetite and money. Kept on fire long enough these would be great. Fries are good. Good choice of bears, mid-priced cocktails. Service. It looks like a place where someone would bring you a menu and take an order. But that's not going to happen, and no one is going to tell you how to order food unless you begin wondering yourself. So you got to remember everything by heart and order at the counter, paying upfront. You will receive a beeper with table number that will signal every time a plate is ready, so you go and pick it up yourself.More

Came to eat with my wife and our kid. Waited for an hour to receive 2 wrong dishes out of 3. In addition, got served 3 out of 3 wrong sauces. Dont recommend this place if you want to eat, decent tap drinks variety, and...it will be difficult for the waiter to screw up your drinks. Never going there again, ruined the whole evening.More

Great place if you are an easy going person, have a group of friends or you feel alone! despite the other reviews I loved the place because for me it is not a problem to order at the bar, choose a spot to sit and...wait for the beeper to announce that our order is ready. As the place is the only one if you want a splendid view by the lake, if you want to watch the sunset, one should espect the queue to get the drinks or the food. There was a great musical ambiente on a Friday night in late September.More

We were here to celebrate the 1st of September. In Cabo cafe food can be ordered only in the bar. The line of people was very long but ok - we understood that it is Sunday and the 1st of September. I wanted to order...a salad of Cesar but unfortunately, I couldn't get it. So I ordered a burger which tasted ok (meet could be more seasoned) and French fries were very delicious. I also ordered non-alcoholic Mojito and it was the worst non-alcohol I have ever had (there were only lime, lime juice and sparkling water). About service - we didn't get food at the same time. I finished my burger but two people of my table were still waiting for their dishes.More

Shame such a beautiful place is being wasted by such unpleasant cafe. Service is the biggest disappointment. Not friendly and actually rude. Even if you speak Latvian (with accent but clearly) - attitude is awful. Who is employing this people?! Do they even know what...customer service means?! Doubt it. Good place to have a meal outside in summer due to the location near the lake. No table service, food and drinks have to be ordered at the bar and on weekends it is quite crowded there. In general meal was enjoyable.

Heard good reviews, but: - no service - dirty toilet - not very clean at all - burger with chicken was like it was bought in gasoline station or supermarket, with so small quantity of chicken. I belive that some of our gasoline stations make...better burgers. And French fries, better go to McDonald's. + beautiful place near lakeMore

Heared so many wonderful reviews and decided to visit during bachelorette party. Food was delicious, view just amazing, but no service... We were 5 and got food in different times from 10min -1hour, and only after asked about waiting time. We even got wrong food...- pork instead of chicken. At the end we were asked to pay about takeaway box. We are upset because we need to solve service problems by ourselves.More

Strange place, there is no service at all, you must place order inside by bar. After that they give you something like pager, and it beeps when your food is ready. Than you need to go inside and bring your food on your table by...yourself. My girlfriend ordered soup and I pork shaslik. Somehow they managed to give our food in diferent time. When I asked how its possible, they answered that pork needs more time to prepare. WTF? And the price level is in midle range, like normal restaurant pricing level. Its crazy how thei still have customers.More
