There are lots of different little areas here + although we visited in the evening to eat you still get a feel for the complex . Parking is free although limited .There are different types of food available which you choose + the staff place...on your plate. The variety was overwhelming although reasonably priced. We chose to dine in but seating areas are available outside, including tables/chairs undercover. The restaurant was very clean ,There is a music /light water feature show outside which was lovely to watch , there is also a mini zoo area ,gift shops, children's racing car track ,+ funfair type stalls . I would recommend this as a place to visit with children .More

Enjoyable food, however the visit was spoiled by a very rude staff member on the door. She asked to measure our temperature - not a problem. However she failed to instruct us and got more irritated as we we're trying to figure the machine out....Maybe it was the issue of the language barrier- we spoke English, but still were very tempted to turn around and leave straight away. However our cashier was lovely and made it better.More

Some kind of attraction, but somehow lost its attractiveness. Food is okeish lunch food to fill ones tummy, but that’s. Service in poor.

Maybe COVID had an impact on the work of this place, but it was much better some years ago. They had before much more variety of food and tastier. The quality of the beer so-so, better not to taste it...they are checking your temperature at...the entrance (due to the COVID) and many tables have a plastic shield, so they follow the prevention measures introduced by the GovernmentMore

Really amazing place! The food is good and tasty with a wide range of Latvian traditional cuisine meals. Also the setting is beautiful and authentic. There's a territory outside with all possible amusement park attractions and with a skating rink in winter.

Worth to visit. For a while it was the biggest log-house in the Europe (if I remember it right) and also the whole area - there is like a small entertainment park - is very nice. Food selection, quality and taste is very good (but...of course it is not a kind of a la carte restaurant for a romantic dinner). They take Covid-threat very seriously thus everybody's temperature is measured at the door (it takes ca 5 seconds), knifes-forks-spoons are packed specially, additional screens between tables etc. Unfortunately the basement-floor restaurant was closed, probably due to Covid (or may-be it is not open during Mon-Fri mid-day at all). This time we had a strange accident there: we went to order some more food and as we did not want leave a la a phone for a proof of coming back we just left a full glass of drink and some food to our table. After coming back in 5 minutes everything was cleaned... Actually the problem was solved immediately very nice way and we got everything back for free. But still as a result it was not a pleasant emotion from this lunch (I won't include this to my points). P.S. I even do not have a good recommendation for a stuff how to understand if the client has left or will continue the meal after some minutes. Bit better to find a solution for that. Placing fork-knife the right position on the plate (have finished/will continue) does not seem to work at all nowadays.More

To get there I took a tram from the old Town, it is around a 20 minute ride and I got off at the stop Atputas Centrs but still you have to walk around 7 minutes on the large and empty parking lot which was...kinda creepy at night. The food was very bland and tasteless in my opinion, but very cheap. Even the drinks were tasteless. It was rather empty on a Sunday at 8 PM, I would have expected much more people. On the -1 floor there was a band playing and people dancing. You can decide for yourself if it is worth it. But the cake from the café at the entrance was good.More

Amazing and cheap food - with a HUGE selection of buffet food you could pretty much try any speciality in latvia here at a really low price. Everything from lots of potato pancakes to shashlik - 100% delicious. The beer can be ordered in large...litre tankards (always a winner) and the restaurant itself is MASSIVE. Room for hundreds of people in there - and if you go downstairs they had a live band as well as an entire area with TV sports on, so it should suit literally anyone who wants to eat tasty local food in a really convivial atmosphere. It feels a lot like a German beer garden too so there's no pressure to go in your "Sunday best"! The setting itself is wonderful in the evening with the whole building being lit up (including the windmill) and lots of sculptures and ornaments. Was worried it would feel a bit tacky and would be a massive tourist trap kind of place but actually most of the people in there that evening were locals, the staff were super friendly, and the prices weren't a rip off so I was happily proven wrong! :) loved it!More

If you come to Riga you simply must visit this place. Always busy but worth it. The food is very good and plenary of choices. They have live music every night from 7 at the lower ground floor. The beer here is extremely cheap, so...be ready to eat and drink :) Fun for the kids too!More
