Wonderful warm place, muted and peaceful colours and comfy furniture. Quick and pleasant service with great recommendations. Coffee was delicious. Duck, chicken and focaccia all superb and worth the (stated when ordering) wait. Definitely will go back to try other dishes.

Very cosy restaurant with chefs , who have great imagination on their take of traditional dishes. BRITISH francophiles will love it. The waitress Kitsija is absolutely the gift to this lovely restaurant

Nice little place. We passed by and went in for a quick lunch. Was good food, good service, nice atmosphere, cute interior. The only think - the worn out dirty-looking baby seat didn’t fit in this cute little place.

The atmosphere is one of the best in Riga - a lovely place for any time of the day! But some dishes are a laugh - had the pancakes the other day and received three tiny size bits.. Camon, few more spoons on that pan...should not be that much of an effort to get to a 5-star rating.More

Visited La Kanna for the first time just by walking by searching for a place to have a quick lunch. The Average score is mainly given due to ignorant service I received. Firstly asked if I could get a daily soup although it was quarter...to 12, girl behind the counrer said stricktly - NO! Just after 15 min from 12! Very sharp order indeed which you don’t expect from a modern coffee shop. Anyway... Then asked for matcha latte which was in menu - the powder is finished! Was tge reply. Ordered then a toasted bread with a poached egg and double espresso. Got a small bun instead which was tasty just a bit tiny for 4,90€ The whole experience was ruined by unfriendly service, the food was tasty although the portion was on a smaller side.More

Food was not good at all and house wine was undrinkable. Athmosphere was ok and waiter was really nice.

A small cozy place to go. Loved the atmosphere. Food was okay, nothing special. Portions were mostly good, but if you go there after a long day and want to eat more then need to order appetizer as well.

We ate there the 27 February evening. What a great discovery in this beautiful city. We took the duck, the seafood pasta and the meringue cake and the pear for dessert. Explosion of tastes! Plus the waitress was so kind and available. Thank you for...the experience. Definitely visit again of I go back to Riga. Thank you, keep going this way, it was perfectMore

The place is quite cute, candles and all but its bit pricey, serving only bottled water starting from 4 EUR. We had just appetizers - humus and bruschetta, very tasty, around 8 EUR each and portion was rather on the small side.
