Great view of St Peter's church and the location is ideal for tourists that need a break to relax. They only take cash and they don't take credit cards which is probably a good idea for those that are too mean to tip.
We opted for the Angus and Chicken burger meal with chips and the portions were huge and great value too.
Great music too which lead to a comfortable vibe.

Great find this place weather you just want a coffee during the day or a nice meal in the evening .You have to order everything via an App which is brilliant the food comes pretty quickly and the portion size is quite big ,They do some great combination meals which are brilliant. The staff are not over friendly but are quite helpful.

They're open for breakfast at 10am which is a plus (most places in Riga open later). Had full English and a drink for about 10€, quality of food was decent. For some reason, you need to use a phone to order the food, but then you also have to pay by cash

Me and my daughter were just dropping in for a quick lunch with drinks. It was everything but quick and to say the least, dissapointing. Service was extreamly slow and when we got the food (which was cold, when put on the table), the drinks were nowhere to be seen. We asked two waiters and the host where the were, and got told it was on the way. We waited patiently for at least 20 minutes before we almost left because the tables around us, who just got there, got their drinks. 3 minutes after we got our drinks and the food head gone cold, and the cheese sweaty from the sun, the same waiter asked if he could clear the plates of our table??? People next to us chose to leave before they got their food, and were also cleary upset with the wait and service. Very strange experience

I hot there today at 12:19. First thing they told me, twice, was that it was cash only, which should have me suspect was was coming. I order a bottle of still water and a simple ham and mushroom pizza. 30 minutes later, despite the fact that at least 3 delivery guys showed up for pick up, my food was not ready. There weren't that many people neither inside nor in the terrace. As I had to get to the airport, after a patient 30 minute wait I asked about my food snd they told me it would be another 10 minutes. It was unacceptable as I had to leave for the airport on an empty stomach. Thanks gor that and also for charging me almost 5 euros for a 700 ml bottle of still water which quite frankly in a proper restaurant they would have not charged as compensation. I can't comment on the food for obvious reason but what I saw did not look that good either. In summary, don't bother and ho elsewhere.

Went to Golden Coffee for a Club Sanwhich. While the sandwhich itself was good and moderately priced, I almost missed my ferry due to incredibly slow service. The visit took me almost two hours in total, and would've taken longer if I hadnt tried to get the waitresses' attention at every possible occasion. It took about 15 minutes before we even had a waiter to take our order, half an hour to get the sandwhich and almost an hour to get the check+change. We had to separately call them over to remind them that we had paid (we only had larger bank notes left and they only take cash, so we didnt want to leave 70€ in tips). Luckily we visited when the place was almost empty - I dread to think how slow the place is when it is populated.

I came to this place for the first time. I am allergic to gluten and the staff was very attentive. They didnt have gluten free bread, however, I did take the self made burger with meat and vegetables and cheese, and potato pancake on the side (which was gluten free). The food was delicious and I had no issues after. Will come back here again for sure.

I can’t believe how they stay in business. The service was painfully slow. My husband and I had to get up and find the servers to get any kind of service after ordering drinks and food. My club sandwich and fries order came with barbecue sauce ( ! ) and mayonnaise, but no ketchup so I asked for some. After asking two of the servers for ketchup, I had to personally go and ask them for it again, as no one brought it out. When we asked for a check, they had charged for the ketchup! And also an extra charge for the mayonnaise, which I never asked for. When pointed out, the server took off the extra mayonnaise charge, but only after I again had to go find the server myself as we were tired of waiting and wanted to make a payment so we could finally get out of there.

Only half of the food was tasty, the costs are very high comparing with other locations from the same area. The Pepsi ordered was without gas, it was something similar to the one from Mc Donald’s, but worst. The 2 stars are for the atmosphere!

Great place, with great staff and delicious deals! The service is very pleasant, you don’t have to wait long, you need to understand that they serve to the best of their ability and the number of people at the moment.
The snacks are very tasty, as are the alcoholic drinks. I didn’t have time to have lunch or dinner at this establishment, but I will definitely return there more than once!

Horrible experience. I got a flat white to go, because the free walking tours meeting point is right around the corner. The coffee was the worst coffee I ever had. Incredibly bitter. Maybe the almond milk in it had gone bad. Also, 5,90 € for a small cup with liquid that tastes like rinsing water is pricey even for a tourist trap in Latvia.

You can only pay with cash, no card. The burger was mediocre, fries came with sliced potatoes and chinese 5 spice? The pizza was really small, wine ok, but expensive for what it was. Wouldn’t rush back.

low level service. we came to the restaurant when there were not many people. while waiting for an order in the restaurant, almost all the places were filled. We waited about an hour for the order, it's too much. At the same time, salads were brought first, then soup with hot. and then appliances. part of the orders brought onewaiter, then the second. I think this is not entirely correct. each waiter must serve his own table. the waiting time ruined the whole mood. I just wanted to leave. I do not recommend visiting this institution.

These weekend girls are clearly not happy to help. Made us feel unwelcome, had to wait a long time to order, we felt a nuisance. No please or thank you! Nice drinks, but wouldn't recommend as there are loads of fabulous places in riga.

I had just finished a walking tour and this was close and I went in. The pink soup was very delicious as was the cocktail I had with it. Great atmosphere. One staff member seemed a little unhappy and may have been having a bad day, but overall he wasn't too bad. Cash only.
