Delicious cocktails. Delicious chicken burger. The only downside is the service is very slow. The environment is pleasant. Ideal for sitting, eating and chatting comfortably

Have been there to eat a handful of times. Good Mexican fusion food. Delicious beef tacos. A great drink selection. Have gone there for drinks on my birthday for the last two years. Pretty good service. Not the cheapest place to eat at, but definitely...worth a visit!More
Delicious margaritas, great music and atmosphere. Wonderful attentive service from the staff. Great and relaxed venue for drinks.
Went there on Wednesday evening "Taco Wednesday". Took the deal 6 tacos and 2 drinks (Salitos beer and red house wine) The server was welcoming and I enjoyed the music a lot (moody, relaxed) , nice place where to enjoy drinks and have a talk....The portion was just right for me. If you're really hungry maybe this is not the place. And I tried nachos w quacamole - first time there was more sauce than the nachos :D Best guacamole I've tried in Riga so far. Will come back.More
I visited Manana for the first time around a month ago because I was looking for something new to eat but without spending too much money on a restaurant. There is a shortage of decent Mexican food in Riga, so I thought that trying the...tacos here might change my mind on that. There is a modest selection on the menu, with options available for chicken, lamb, beef, tiger prawn, and vegetarians. There are also a few main courses, but the tacos are what they seem to advertise most - recommending 3 to a person as a normal portion. They cost around €3-5 per taco depending on the filling. The selections are pretty simple, with most consisting of a meat, a little salad, and a tasty guacamole-type sauce. The wait was not too long, and they have a normal range of beers available at the bar - from the standard Latvian lagers (overpriced a little bit here), ranging to Alkimikis craft beers. The bartenders were all friendly. The chicken and mango taco was not particularly mangoey, but nice enough. The beef and kimchi taco fared slightly better, even if it was strange getting Asian flavours from a Mexican food base. The vegetables in the tempura prawn taco were a bit overpowering, but it was good enough anyway. My main complaint would be that there is some cheese missing in all of them, as it seems weird to me eating tacos without it. When ordering tacos, I would normally also expect a hard shell, but the hipster-trendy soft-shell tacos are what they serve here - closer to miniature burritos. I liked it enough that I revisited on "Taco Wednesday", however. Here, there is a special deal of 3 tacos and a beer for €10, or 6 tacos and 2 beers for €15. This seems like a good deal at first, until they stingily serve a small beer. The tacos for this offer are not the standard menu ones either, but different creations. I tried the roast beef one, and try as I may have to like it, a single slice of roast beef will never work in a taco - it is far too chewy and doesn't break apart as easily as the rest of the taco unless you shove the whole thing into your mouth at once. The main thing that was disappointing after the "Taco Wednesday" was that, after spending €10, I was still hungry. That is why my review gets downgraded down to 3 stars from a previous 4. The deal for one person doesn't seem worth it at all in my eyes, though perhaps I would visit again as a couple and see how we feel with €7.50 each for two miniature cheap lagers on top of whatever is the taco special.More
Had a great tasty Lamb tacos, salad and Alkimikis beer. A great place for an evening with friends, especiakky it it's a friday evening. On friday better to reserve a table, can be busy.
We stopped by after having arrived at our apartment from the airport at 11pm (9pm UK time) and hopeful of finding somewhere for a end of day quick drink. It was fairly quiet, occupied by a few groups of locals. They had a nice range...of IPAs of which I let the barman choose for me and we settled down. I wasn’t aware until googling that this is actually a Mexican restaurant - maybe something to try another time!More
Mañana was just around our apartment in Riga and we were so glad we went there for dinner! The food was simply amazing! We had the tortillas with delicious guacamole and then tried all the tacos. It was one of the best meals we've had!...Definitely recommending this place!More
