Wen`t in with good intentions and childhood memories since living abroad for a while, but got disappointed! Ventilation was bad (clothes ended up smelling after visit), wi-fi had a wrong code. The pastries were bland. Had that evaporated milk nut - felt like just store bought stuff put in crumble forms (possibly store bought as well). Staff seemed angry. Something... More

One of the cheapest and most delicious eats you can find in Riga. The quality is fantastic. Make sure to try senu pirags (mushroom pirags) and the medus kuka (honey cake)!

Almost everyone I met recommended this bakery and I can see why. The pastries were super delicious and not expensive. The only drawback was nothing was in English so it was a case of point and hope it taste good!

It's a good place for local and tourist both. Staff is a little bit unfriendly though, and there is no way to pay with credit card as well. But all of pastries is really good (couldn't recommend any specific patty, 'cause they all are very tasty).

What a wonderful bakery! Prices are very low but the quality is very high! There's also lots of seating available. But be warned--the employees may not speak English well, so be prepared to just point to things. Still, I tried several pastries and all were delicious.

"Mārtiņa Beķerēja" is one of the great places for traditional Latvian goodies: "pīrāgi" - buns stuffed with bacon, or mushrooms or cabbage, and a variety of sweets: "medus kūka" - honey cake, or fantastic Napoleons. Eat in or to go, many Latvians make this a daily stop, and for good reason. The baking is super fresh and delicious, very reasonably... More

This is not a restaurant, but cafe. Good place for girls to take a cup of coffee and a fresh bun made by handsome owner Martins.
