The cappuccino i had this morning was breath-takingly good! And the atmosphere, super cosy and nice! My favorite coffe-place in all Estonia!

From our Airbnb just 700 meters far we want to give it a try because of the reviews here. And we were not disappointed. The cappuccino and the latte were really good! I tried the pancakes which were also very tasty (but I think only...on Sunday). Don't expect a big selection of food and drinks, but I liked the charm and the friendliness of the people who worked there.More

I had read that this cafe had the best cappuccinos in Tartu. I was not disappointed. Mine was excellent and I should know. This is my coffee drink at whatever cafe I happen to be in. I have been drinking cappuccinos since only one Starbucks...existed in San Diego. Quaint little place, friendly staff and great reading material. Interesting neighborhood to stroll through.More

This tiny "home made" corner cafe without any pompous or polished interior decorations is a jewel of its kind. Absolutely worth to walk deep into Karlova area with the very interesting architecture of old wooden townhouses. Do not think that their pastry / salty pies...are only the ones you can see in the small vitrine! But the main thing, the most precious thing is the coffee! After a cup or two you cannot just leave without buying freshly roasted beans to bring home. And no reason to wonder the rather serious and not too smiley service of the personnel - that´s still rather typical in Estonia. They do not mean any harm! I´ll surely go there again when I´ll be in Tartu next month. Looking forward to return!More

This place is romantic, with lovely surroundings and not to mention the very best cappuccino in all of Tartu! Worth the few extra steps.

The best coffee I ever tried was in Karlova kohv! Huge advantage is that you can choose type of coffee beans and milk 👌🏻

I liked barista, she was interested in helping us to.choose coffee for filter and asked how was it. Espresso on beans from Peru was tasty, filter coffee on beans from Columbia was too light. Interesting place with roaster in coffeeshop. Also the girl adviced another...places with good coffee and was really nice.More

Had a nice breakfast with my mom. Both salty and sweet porridges tasted very homely and delicious. Mom also enjoyed her strong coffee and Karlova Kohv is all about coffee, indeed. Nice service, lovely venue and local vibe. Interior is simple, unpretentious and mixes the...styles of past times.More

Good fresh Coffee and Napoleon Cake lovely. Decor in the current fashion of repaired walls, bare plaster and painted murals but we liked it. Even met another coffee ‘barrista’ from another town who spoke to me in German before realising I was English whereby he...broke in to perfect English with an American accent. Had a long conversation and ended up getting an invitation to his coffe shop 50 miles to the west. It’s that sort of place!More
