We tried to find this place for like 10, 15 minutes walking aroud because the is no sign of Noku. It is well known by locals, it used to be a conspiracy house before estonian revolution so it kept it’s name hidden also today....We were freezing and tried to find a different place to stay and drink a hot drink and relax our feet. But when we got there we had to try the soups, starters, main course because we couldn’t help us when we saw the others dishes...
The food was really good, the prices were small, the place was interesting..
I think students must go there because i saw many young people with their laptops taking notes while taking a bite..
Have to go there if you are curious and happens to be around that place/street..
Hope this will help you- it is a interfone with a code 2580 and the door is blue 😉More
Visited NoKu last night with a large (30+) group of friends. Quiet an edgy place with a Cool vibe and friendly atmosphere. Nice varied food (I had salmon) and drinks menu at reasonable prices.
It can be difficult to find as there is no sign...outside (I’m assuming this keeps it exclusive) and you require a 4 fidget pin code to enter (2580 as at 10-Jul-19).More
The code as advertised online was incorrect and the locals outside were not keen on assisting us to get in. Felt rather much like a youth club inside and both staff and fellow drinkers were not overly keen on some tourists being in there. Felt...the place lacked an atmosphere and wasn't over enamoured being there despite its idea of a secret place. Wouldn't recommendMore
We walked into this place because of its nice and homelike food (also just happens to be in the center of the old town) Potato chips were good and always have been, but nachos With chicken and salsa were horrible (no chicken and when I...asked the chef, she explained that there is full 50g of chicken inside the salsa, but then it should be Named accordingly as well.) Strawberry and passion jucecocktail tasted like strawberry jam and nothing else. Horrible service, new workers who claim to only been working in the place for 3 weeks but can not explain any of the foods. Used to be a very nice place, but not much is left from it. :( (as much as I know you should take meatballs, they are always classic Estonian)More
Place is great, but food is absolutely horrible. Overpriced for such ridiculous meals that they offer. Amount of the foods are tiny and they are tasteless.Iv been there quite many times now,as well my friends say the same thing. They cant continue serving this kind of...food and think that its okay to rip off clients. For example the price for indian chicken fillet with rice should be 1 eur not 7eur, cause that price with this food just doesnt make any sense.Im dissapointed cause i do like the place, but they need to change the chefMore
We came there for the lunch but didn’t get it. For sure we were attracted of the history of this place. The interior is really nice but we waited smt around 15 mins till a waiter comes and he didn’t because he was playing some...board game. The bar was half empty and he saw us.
We leaved and didn’t have possibility to try smt.
I find it’s stupid, service must be service especially in a place with history🤦🏼♀️More
Best thing about NoKu is definitely the atmosphere. It's such a cozy and cool place which is not that easy to find... I tried once but got no idea how to get the door open. When I finally got the instructions I was happy I...did. Loved to sit and chill in there. Food was nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. Will revisit. Over and over.More
