Great selection of dishes & tasty ones! If you're vegetarian or vegan, you can certainly grab a snack or dish here. My friend and I dropped here for a meal and we were offered a complimentary set of dark bread and butter. How nice of...Peps! I wish the hummus that came with potatoes tasted more interesting - it was hard to swallow it and it felt like I was eating ground. Perhaps a different kind of hummus would be a better alternative. The soup tasted mighty well too and the bread was a nice addition to our meals. Well done!More

We headed to Peps as we wanted to have a bite and a drink before a concert. Interior was nice but... Lonely waitress seemed to be quite busy although the place was not too crowded. She claimed that there will be 20 min waiting time...for basically everything, included a smoothie and fresh juice and added that in case we want the latter one, she will have to prepare it herself so long waiting time guaranteed... There was no chance for a cocoa as they had run out of it. Well, and we were running out of time... We decided to order a borsch and bacon-thyme waffle. Borsch was a good one, the waffle was big though but overly crispy so I felt like I needed a beer to pair it with something. Not to mention, it was quite pricey. Maybe if I had more time, I would try some drinks in the future but there are much better options for food nearby...More

It has rather simple food, but it is tasty and for Tallinn very friendly and fast service. Good wifi, sufficient place between tables, a bit hipsters atmosphere (I would not say it about the meals (place was full and no hipsters around). Great place for...a short retreat!More

I visit the cafe from time to time. In a good location, a modern, simple café. Good service, delicious food, very good cocktails.

Peps exemplifies modern Estonia - smart, innovative, friendly - and offers excellent quality food and service. Glasses of water were being poured before we'd even taken off our coats, and delicious black bread and butter provided. Cheese and bacon waffles were made freshly (could smell...them being done in the kitchen); other items ordered were all excellent: warm borscht with meat, duck confit and lamb burger and a delicious chocolate, crushed gingerbread and lingonberry dessert. A modest-scale menu suggests that everything is cooked from fresh, yet still offers a good variety of choice, with local and international influences creating an individual cooking style. Price for two for three courses, including a large dark beer each, was 50 euros - very reasonable given the quality and central location near to the State Opera and Solaris Shopping Centre, and only a short walk from the Old Town, where most of the restaurants apart from some smart cafes and a few very high-end establishments seem to be tourist traps.More

This is really nice spot for lunchtime. They have healthy meals, special lunch offers every business day (you also get piece of tasty rye bred and tap water with your business lunch) and besides that kind, friendly and attentive waitresses. Also the overall athmosphere is...calm and cosy. They also offer healthy breakfast and nice variety of a la carte meals. My favourite is Asian chicken salad! Every time I have visited them I have had the warmest welcome and the best experience.More

I don't normally admit to being a hipster type but I imagine its a given since I like Peps so much. Its a small cafe bar (???) with an excellent and exciting menu. We had an Asian chicken salad. The actual salad was very fresh...and the chicken was well cooked. The dish came with some delicious black bread and salted butter. Theres a good selection of very reasonably priced drinks. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Its obviously popular with locals, seeing as how its a little bit out of town. I adore the decor but it could be a bit hipster for some.More

Enjoyed our breakfast at 2 pm on Saturday. Pancakes were not spectacular but it suited me well. Desert in a jar with white chocolate is a must! Loved it. The place is decorated with pictures of our nowaday heros lol!

We enjoyed this place during a rainy day in Tallinn. This is completely off the tourist routes (apart from the way to the Stockmann department store from downtown). And the menu was really great: fresh food, good prices. And on Saturday / Sunday you can...enjoy waffles in different variations.More
