We visited Kivi Paper Käärid for a late lunch after we had visited the Fotografiska next door. The menu was very wide and offered a good choice for my meat eating husband as well as gluten free, mainly vegetarian me. We both had the Vietnam inspired soup for starters (tastes perfect, beware of the big portion size!). I went for the Broccoli salad with vegan mayo and sweet potato fries. Both well prepared as they should. Especially tasty was my husband’s chicken with beetroot-fennel-goats cheese and avocado puré. The beetroot thingy was super good. Nice local Kombucha. And as bonus: they sell gluten free bread to go. This is a very good restaurant. Gluten free is not in you face, just a spice.

We went to visit the restaurant since we tend to eat nowadays food without wheat so the whole menu without gluten sounded inviting! The atmosphere was nice (kinda bar with a restaurant in it). The music was playing a bit loud in our opinion, but we still wanted to give it a try. We had a table reservation at 8 pm. We were guided to our table and given our menus. There was a nice young waiter with a smile and a great humble attitude serving us! We did order nachos plate and olives as a starter dish. Our waiter brought our starters in a while and they tasted delish! For the main dish we did choose a chorizo pasta, slow cooked beef cheek and our kid had a modified chicken portion with fries. What an experience! Portions arrived at the table just after we did finish our starters. So great timing! Tastes were excellent (probably the best pasta sauce out of this decade! BRAVO!) Beef was definitely slowly prepared and chicken had nice quinoa parmesan bredding which was yummy! All the tastes, feeling and service deserves an onest solid 5/5! We will be definitely coming back to your great restaurant. Best wishes, Timo Saarinen

The food was good but the service was bad and unfriendly. I asked if the food contains egg because it tasted like it (I can’t eat eggs), the waitress replied “I don’t think so”. I would expect them to check allergens from the kitchen, not only to believe their assumptions. I had to go to restaurant counter and ask the waitress to check the egg information from the kitchen and then she did. The food didn’t contain egg, but this restaurant experience ruined our lunch time.

Went for a lunch today when visiting Telliskivi. We went in and tried to make an eye contact with a staff member but no one seemed to notice us. We saw a free table and took a seat and thought that maybe they will come to our table to welcome us then. No one came. Finally my boyfriend went to ask a waiter to come to our table and the waiter promised that he will send someone. We waited for around 20 minutes again and no one came. We left and won't be coming again.

We went to Kivi Paber Käärid because of the gluten free menu. It's a wonderful place for someone with allergies but you need to wait for the food for 1 hour at least. And this was for lunch! Also the drinks took almost half an hour to arrive. Gluten free you can find in many places in Tallinn, so I wouldn't bother to wait here again. Food was very good, nothing mind blowing though, service not so great...

The food was good but the customer service was really bad and somehow coldhearted. The drinks were brought to the other end of the table and they didn't pour them in to the glasses. No one came to fetch the dishes and bring the check even though we tried to make contact with the staff. In the end we had to walk to the counter to pay because no one came to the table and we had waited for quite some time already. There were about three tables of people at the same time, so the poor service can not be based on them being busy.

We first chose Kivi Paber Kaarid because one of us needs to avoid gluten and this was the only restaurant that guaranteed 100% gluten-free food. But we liked all about it. The food was great, the customer service was excellent, we absolutely loved the milieu and the atmosphere, and we had a really great time. We will definitely come back next time we're in Tallinn!

Service was attentive and helpful. I had a beer and this incredible salad of bacon, avocado, more bacon, a few greens thrown in, and more hot bacon with peaches. Wild that they can do a vegan version of this one? No croutons used as "filler." This salad would be reason enough to come back to Tallinn. Alas, I fear Kivi Paber Kaarid will pull this from the menu in other seasons. I was there in July.

Telliskivi area is one of my favourites in Tallinn, but I’ve never eaten in this restaurant. As one of us has celiac disease, we wanted to test this place. We had spicy rice noodle salad with chicken and slow-cooked beef cheek & season’s vegetables ( note: vegetables cooked ”al dente” as they should!) Everything was so tasty, all flavours matched perfectly with each other and the dishes were clearly prepared with passion and love. Portions were also visually beautiful. The Georgian wine recommended for the beef was super. However, I think the most important thing was what my friend, who has celiac disease, said: ” Here I do not need to worry, I can order anything that is on the menu and eat what I want.” Very friendly and attentive service even if it clearly was the busiest time on Saturday. Prices were reasonable considering how good ot was.

Really bad service and The food wasn't any good either. We had to ask several times to get a waiter to our table even though the place was quite empty. When we finally got some service (after about 45min wait) waiter told us that the kitchen is going to close in 30 minutes so we have to hurry 🤣

This is a must go every time we visit Tallinn. The food and the service os top notch, not to mention how kids are being taken care of. All food are gluten free and the self made burger bun is the best I have aver tasted. The place suites for family, friends, couples and business, really everything goes.

Food was really good! Our family took burgers, chrispy chicken and chorizo pasta. Everyone liked the food and also the desserts, raspberry mudcake and vegan pavlova. Especially the pasta was very tasty. Service was not friendly and it took ages before we got the bill. Only based on the food it would be 4 or even 5 stars, but with the not so good service only 3.

We went to this restaurant our first afternoon in Tallinn, as I had researched restaurants with gluten-free options online. What a wonderful surprise! I have celiac disease, and it was great to have so many options. The food was that great combination of tasty and healthy; so good we went there three days in a row! The neighborhood has a great vibe and it was fun to be there in the daytime as well as the evening. Service was excellent, except for our third time, when the waiter was not very attentive and had the gall to add the “leave a tip” fun to the card reader. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We went to this place to have lunch. Place was not full, but after waiting 15 minutes we wete not able to get any attention from waiters. Went to other nearby place that was good. So maybe this place has good food, but it was not possible to get that.
