If you want to spend spectacular evening in Tallinn - choose the dinner&show in the restaurant Merineitsi, that is situated in the Viru Hotel. You'll have three-meals courses and magnificent cabaret-show in three parts.
Starters Foie Gras Crème Brûlée (see photo below), the other variant...was Salted whitefish with scallop sevice, prawns, sauce of cancer and dill and trout caviar. Main course was Seafood "Minestrone" (but you could choose Culver or Rack of Lamb too). And Dessert - Crème Anglais. Food and service were commendable.
The Cabare was exellent. It was meaningful, holistic perfomance, dedicated to Estonian grand old man Saareke, who developed this form of art during the 40 years of his life. Therefore Merineitsi cabaree show is incredibly diverse, covering 1940s with recreated images of Marika Rökk and Josephine Baker; 1960s with very funny Soviet songs and Estonian pop-bands and finally 1990s recreating Boney M, French chanson d'amour and Time to say Goodbye. Everything - the dancers, the singers, the costumes, the light were at very good level. And although I'm not a particular fan of cabare genre, this evening was fun and joyful.More
