An amazing and memorable experience which makes a trip to Tallinn worthwhile. Everythingn was perfect, the food, the service and the piano concert! Amazing!

The service was good. The food was very good and I enjoyed the alcohol as well. I had the venison with wine sauce. They took my order with special recommandations without hesitations. We will happily come back again.

They have only one vegan dish and it was disappointing. I heard my colleagues enjoyed everything but if you are vegan I don't recommend.

Dessert was amaizing, the atmosphere is great. Just need some more vegetarian and vegan friendly options

Cafe "Rukis" is a cozy place where you can spend some quality time with your loved ones alongside flavorful cakes or decent meals.The retro design with different decorations, such as vintage lamps with warm light, cute dried flowers in the vase, and “grandma” dishes, is...utterly leading you to a different countryside world for a while. Service was really good. Food was really good! I really recommend this place! We ordered mix of starters, cheese and meat mix and Vana Tallinn ice cream.

Great food, wine & service.:-) The mixed starter set was a great experience and very tasty. Main courses, duck and veal were cooked to the point. A great surprise was the live pianist and singer. We loved the evening.

This spot was breathtaking. We really enjoyed how professional the waiters were. Also every recomendation from them was really delicious. You have to try also their bakery when you will be there.

The venue is lovely, unfortunately 20 minutes after arriving the peace was disrupted by a musician that played at a deafening level - it was clearly visible from other guests around us that the sound level was so loud as to cause considerable and visible...disruption. At one point a waiter had to remove his earpiece and shout at another customer to understand what was being requested. After requesting to be moved further away from the noise (we weren’t the only guests who had to do this), we were moved a mere 10 meters away despite multiple tables being empty in the “packed” restaurant. The sound registered at 80 - 90 decibels (yes, we measured it, it was that loud - we needed to know we weren’t just being Karen’s, also this is after being moved further from the musician). It was to the degree where the musician announced he’d be taking a break, to which a fellow guest shouted “hopefully for an hour!” - I think that says it all… In tandem with the noise disruption, it took 45 minutes for a bottle of wine to be delivered to our table, which only arrived after chasing (however, it was not the wine we asked for - it was still a Sauvignon blanc and nice, so we’ll nullify that discretion). Whilst it was a Friday night, we had to request an update from a waitress who apologised and rectified the issue immediately after the manager and several other employees looked at our empty table and omitted from doing anything other than chat to another guest. We’d accept that the staff were swept off their feet had it not been for guests around us (who arrived 20-30 mins after) receiving not only drinks, but starters and bread before we had even received a bottle of water. For context, we arrived at 7pm and it was 7:45pm when our drinks finally arrived. We appreciate 2 stars is a low score, especially considering the previous high scores of this establishment. However, we believe it to be justified purely on the merit of the food (which was excellent) and the physical appeal of the establishment, but the service and “entertainment” diminished every other aspect to the degree, warranting such a score and review. Aforementioned, we had seen and read such positive reviews of the venue so were wholly disappointed with the experience we had and wanted to share with a wider audience.More

We really enjoyed this beautiful restaurant. Great food, great service. There was a live piano performance that added a little extra to the evening. Definitely recommended!
