We had unfortunately outdated information about this restaurant being a nice place with children - not the case anymore, as the food is certainly not to childrens taste, and no special childrens menu available. Food was ok fine dining style, but nothing special. Nice atmosphere...& christmas decorations.More

Our visit to The Farm Restaurant can only be described as perfect and exceptional. From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel totally welcome. We ordered the selection of Farm appetisers, which were truly delicious...and so worth the €30 as you got a lovely portion of each item. We were also given a platter of gorgeous rye bread on the side (as traditional in Estonia). This bread is baked daily on the premises and it was so tasty. Our waitress explained that we should have it with butter and a sprinkle of salt. For the main, one of us ordered the duck, the other the venison, both cooked medium rare and again, it was presented beautifully and cooked to perfection. We shared a traditional dessert of Estonian bread soup. The restaurant is lovely and cosy but very smart at the same time. The colours (beige, white) are soothing as is the gentle lighting. If you are in Tallinn, I’d highly recommend this place.More

Visited during Tallinn Restaurant Week. 3-course dinner menu 40€. All dishes were very well performed and flavourful. Entrée- The cod liver mousse with toast on side was very delicate. Red caviar added a nice salty touch. Main dish - Grilled lamb fillet was of superb...quality - very soft and grilled, just as I’ve asked, medium rare. Celery root purée was delicate. Cognac sauce added a savory note. My only concern is the portion size. If I would order it a la carte at 35€, I would be extremely disappointed with the small size of portion. If however, the resto reduced the portion within Restaurants Week project, then it’s even worse imho. Dessert - black bread soup (though on event it was announced as pudding and those are two different things) with berry sorbet and sour cream mousse - it was good and flavourful, nicely served too. The reason I rate 4 and not 5 was because of my main dish size/price ratio - totally out of balance. The second reason was the wine list. Estonian wines are represented only by Murimäe. Being sommelier I know an array of great Estonian wine producers, that would give guests a much more exciting experience. Another reason is that the rhubarb sparkling wine we ordered was warm and if I wouldn’t have brought it to attention, the girl wanted to pour it out as it was. Moreover, she offered to bring some ice to put in a glass - I appreciate the good intention, but it’s a definite and strong NO-NO (why would anyone want to ruin a good wine with ice?). Otherwise the service was very nice and attentive. I really enjoyed it is an elegant restaurant one can dress up.More

Shared a mixed platter for starters which was really good as it meant we could try different things. Only thing we weren’t keen on was the frozen fish in cheese on a stick. The rare bread with butter and salt was delicious.

I ordered the pikeperch. It was nice. They also gave me rye bread that is on the house. Cappuccino as cappuccino should be. Tasted good. The environment of the restaurant is also comfortable

Great food and service. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly inside, presumably because the restaurant was practically empty at that time. I wish they had more dessert options.

The food was very nice, a modern take on traditional Estonian food. The service was great, I was little worried when the waitress introduced herself, but she was very discreet.

Best estonian cuisine in old town, authentic food from bread to mains to desserts. Good drink selection, while not too overwhelming.

Food was really good, my venison was fantastic, I really enjoyed it. Service was good as well. I had a little problem with the wine list, only one Spanish wine, a crianza for 40 euros which is outrageously expensive considering that is a fairly young...wine. I would have liked to see more Spanish wines in their lost.More

we came here for dinner with a booking, but the restaurant was almost empty. it is a very nice and quiet place, with good distance between tables and people, kind and very professional staff, and a great choice of dishes. we had two first dishes...(rabbit liver pate with cherry gelatin and rosemary-thyme bread and a Rainbow tomato salad with red onion and aromatic herbs), then two mains (Duck fillet with smoked Jerusalem artichoke cream, blackcurrant-cabbage marmalade, carrot confit with nuts and red wine cherry sauce and a Wild game chopped steak with creamy mashed potatoes, mushroom ragu and red wine sauce) for my wife with a glass of white wine (Cabernet Saufignon) and for me with a local red beer. Finishing with two small blackcurrant sorbets and an espresso. All was delishious, really excellent, from the wonderful house-made dark bread to begin until the very last drop of coffee. All together an excellent place for a great meal away from the fuzz and noise. Not the cheapest place to eat, but highly recommended and really worth your money.More

If your dog is comfortable with taxidermy, maybe. The entrance has a display of stuffed boar, fox and wolf.

The red deer striploin (main) was amazing. As was the rye bread with butter and sea salt as an appetiser.
