We have been visiting this place every year couple of times during the summer. This year we visited it first (and last) time. Unfortunatelly there is not much left from old good Hotokas, only the name and an address. We had to wait our two...hotdogs more than half an hour and when they served our hotdogs they were cold, very small on a plate and not so tasty as they were formerly. Service is also poor. We left this place hungry and dissapointed.More

Worth of visiting this side of the Old Town, in fact only about 100 meters from Pikk Herman. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was tasty and atmosphere cosy and relaxed.

We pretty much saw the sign on the street and decided to come for lunch. We both ate hot dogs. Yankee hot dog was traditional type of hot dog with really delicious flavors. Chili dog was excellent and there was definitely chili in this. Not...too much but left nice tingeling in your mouth. Right next L´Ermitage hotel and Radisson hotel so if you are staying in those and you feel for a quick delicious bite my highest recommendations for this placeMore

My fiance and I visited Tallinn back in November for his birthday, and to be honest with you we didn't find any restaurants that did good food... UNTIL we found Hotokas. The restaurant itself is a cute log cabin style tavern that mainly serves hot...dogs and burgers. After we'd finished our excellent main courses, we were encouraged by the restaurant manager/owner to order the donuts and ice cream for dessert. We initially agreed but then wondered if it was a good idea because we were already full! But take my advice: ORDER THE DONUTS AND ICE CREAM. It was so so so so good. To summarise, make sure you eat here when you visit Tallinn.More

Although located next to the old town but a bit like on the backyard of it, Hotokas was a new restaurant for me. Lovely staff, unique interior and delicious food. We tried hand made nachos with chili con carne and estonian hot dog. I'd recommend...both.More

Fabulous little find, great decor and Christmassy vibe! Delicious drinks to warm you up like mint hot chocolate and Baileys latte, but the food... yum! We tried the Estonian hot dog which was gorgeous, and the pulled pork burger, chips on the side are beautiful,...we went back again as we liked it so much! People in there are lovely too, give it a try!More

Called in for an early lunch before leaving for the airport. It was a fab chalet type restaurant. Really cosy and quirky. The owner was very friendly. We had the Estonia & New York hit dog meals. Delicious & the tastiest meal of our 4...day trip. Can't believe we left this gem until the last day.More

The first night we had in Estonia we found the city little hotdog place. The food was really tasty and delivered to our table promptly.

Definitely not your average hot dog! I tried the Estonian dog...the toppings of beet, dark dill sauce, pickled onions & pickle were a perfect balance and blend. The bun was super fresh & soft yet warm with a "crust/crunch"... The fries were an interesting cut,...fresh but you have used 1 more minute in the fryer As for the donuts...omg...so delicious!More
