My friend and I were on a day trip to Tallinn and walked past this restaurant while exploring the old town and the building initially stood out to us after seeing the cute baked goods next door, we had a quick look at the menu and decided to drop in for dinner before taking the ferry back to Helsinki. We... More

We visited Bona twice during our Christmas shopping visit to Tallinn. First time for lunch, second time for coffee. Both times we sat in the cafe/bar part at the front. Really lovely atmosphere, nice and quiet. For lunch we had the delicious warm potato salad with additional roast beef, perfect for a girls lunch, not enough food for a hungry... More

We visited the restaraunt side what they call Bona. We ate the three course dinner there. I could say that food was delicious, especially duck. The staff was nice. Sad that they don't have beers in menu list, so I have to watch it on website what they have to offer.

I purchased bread and pastries here to take to family I was visiting. My purchasers were well received. The staff was helpful and friendly. A good choice for a sweet treat.

Fantastic food (especially the sweet treats), great service and very affordable. Went here for breakfast and couldn't help but return for lunch.

We stopped for juice, coffee and a snack. The range of lovely baked goods (sweet and savoury) surprised us and we enjoyed sitting for a little while during our all day walk around the old city. The prices were reasonable and the staff friendly. Would have been nice to have had time to come back for a full meal.

We stopped here after eating a great lunch and then climbing up to the upper city. We just wanted a snack and boy did we find some here. They had coffee, ice cream and many types of pastries. All of which was mouth watering. We had a tart with 2 hearts and it was fantastic.

Visited the deli for some takeaway goodies and we weren't disappointed. Macarons, tarts, and biscuits, all delicious and all at a reasonable price. We returned in the afternoon for some huge pieces of quiche. Convenient and very tasty..

Popped in for coffee and cake. No one else here . I ordered tea and coffee and a cherry tart . The girl behind the counter wasn't hugely friendly but we got what we needed. Unfortunately they only had peppermint or green tea. Not my favourite, but I wasn't told this until after she had poured the water . Anyway... More

My husband tells me that the Bonaparte provided the best pirukas of our trip to Estonia but I didn't get to taste them. We took them back to our hotel and he ate them all without me! Rare behavior for him, so I am inclined to believe his assessment -- hence, this review. Next trip I will buy more, enough... More

A la carte menu of Bonaparte is based on a classic French cuisine, combined with the newest trends in food culture of the world. From the very beginning, we've been focusing on high quality of both food and services offered. Everything is made on the spot in Bonaparte, including bakery products, chocolate and ice cream. As a decent French restaurant, we also offer a good choice of wine from different regions of France.
