This is a grand cafe with good pastries and coffee but the staff is indifferent or tired but definitely disinterested. Did not even provide serviettes: we had to ask for them. However, it is usually full because of its reputation.

Enter this place and you’ll feel as if going back in time. An amazing experience, tasting pastries, coffee, tea, or the traditional Vanal Tallinn liqueur. The place offers various and cozy tea rooms, you can find a spot for a romantic occasion or a private...business meeting. It is also a restaurant. Prices modest, place is superb!More

This café is a must see in Tallinn. The furnishing an decoration is under monument protection and shows beautiful Art Nouveau. Until today there are handpainted figures made of marzipan and ofcourse they are offering a wide range of deliciuos cakes. Situated in the middle...of the old town, it offers also a terraces, but regardless of the weather you should sit inside. Prices are not different from other cafes.More

Great place to have a coffee and a dessert. It's lovely, in the middle of the old town. I enjoyed my coffee and pastry there.

Mixture of history and blimin good coffee and cake at this place! You must go to the marzipan rooms and see the beautifully hand painted marzipan figures, if you’re lucky there will be someone painting! Indulge in a coffee or hot chocolate in beautiful surroundings...and of course sample the exquisite local Tallin Torte ….. highly recommended!More

A nice cafe with a wide range of pastries and cakes. If you sit by the window, you see the Russian Embassy at the other side of the street, and you may get a bit absurd feeling eating an eclaire while watching the attached posters,...roses, and other reminders of the horrors and wars attached to the embassy fence.More

Local was nice, but coffee and snacks were basic, overpriced. I’ve red on their website about famous estonian marzipans but there was nothing like that here.

The cafe atmosphere and decor is very nice. You can feel it’s with history. Coffee and pastries taste good and at a very reasonable price. However, it’s a self service cafe. You need to find seats by yourself, place your order at cashier, return the...food tray, etc. after use. The time I visited only one staff there. She had to take order at cashier and prepare food & coffee, etc.More

The oldest café in Tallinn. Beautiful historical interior and excellent quality of cakes and coffee. Unfortunately at the same time very busy with tourists looking for a table, and the self-service concept is not appropriate for this kind of place.

Very nice cafe. Pastry was delicious. Marzipan sweets and mango cake are a must try. The only con that I have to share was seating is very limited in the cafe. Cafe is also more than 700 years old and is the oldest in Tallin.

My visit to Café Maiasmokk in Tallinn was a step back in time to a charming and historic café. The café’s interior, with its Art Nouveau decor and vintage ambiance, created a delightful atmosphere. The menu featured a selection of traditional Estonian pastries, including the...famous marzipan creations. Sipping coffee while enjoying marzipan treats was a delightful experience. The café’s commitment to preserving its heritage and craftsmanship was evident in each bite. Whether you’re starting your day with coffee and pastries or simply indulging in a sweet treat, Café Maiasmokk is a must-visit for a taste of Tallinn’s cultural heritage and a journey into its artistic past.More
