Excellent pastry and coffee shop still showing its elegant lineage. I skipped my hotel breakfast each day in favor of coffee and pastries here. Locals, students and tourists give it a warm, lively vibe. Recommended.

A quaint cafe with a lot of history. My companion and I stopped for a quick coffee and to warm up from the cold afternoon. The staff moved quickly and even though the place was packed, we didn't wait long for our coffee and chocolates....They had soy and oat milk substitutes for regular milk. We actually wanted to order food too, but almost all of their pastries and snacks used eggs, so we weren't able to order. The staff was able to answer questions in English about ingredients, which helped, or else I would not have ordered chocolates. It is probably worth a stop if only to marvel at a cafe open for business in the Tallinn old town since 1864.More
Went inside the oldest cafe in Tallinn for a nosey really but my wife and I ended up sitting at a corner table enjoying a G & T just so we could soak up the atmosphere of locals and tourists enjoying their coffee and pastries....The beautiful ceiling and solid wood wall panelling really added to the history and ambience of this must-visit establishment.More
I can't knock this experience at all. The interior is stunning and the prices are cheaper than most in the local area! My latte was delicious, not very hot but I found that in every cafe we visited. The pastries again were very reasonable priced...and really nice. My mum had a ham and cheese croissant and really enjoyed that too. I actually found the staff to be friendlier than most cafes and restaurants we had visited. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again next time I'm in Tallinn!More
Lovely coffee shop. Very traditional and authentic. Coffee and cake delicious. Staff absolutely horrible. Rude, abrupt, impatient. I'd recommend some customer service training!
Not impressed. It is beautifully decorated and has decent coffee but that pretty much it. The pastries look better than they taste. Good prices though. In the main sitting area there is a clock like decoration that makes so much noise that you get a...headache.More
Really lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the best latte we have had, the cakes are pretty good too. The hot chocolate was nice but the latte was nicee. Not overpriced either. I would recommend this cafe.
Try honey cake for a desert, coffee is OK. Obviously, what stands out is the decor (and attracts visitors in droves). Really nice place for photo opp, service can be sometimes cumbersome.
The atmosphere and decor of the cafe are definitely what make it worth a visit. The ordering process was a bit chaotic, with people in line not keeping proper distance. The cakes and drinks we had were good.
Very beautiful interior, nice staff, cosy atmosphere, fabulous cakes (Pavlova was exceptional). Vana Tallinn coffee was very strong but great to try!
