Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you’re looking to thaw out from the chilly Estonian temperatures in the winter; this is the place. Hidden down a side street this little gem is warm and comforting for a caffeine fix and pastry. The coffee was the right temperature, not too hot...to drink immediately whereas the vanilla pastry was incredible. The staff were friendly, if direct. But that’s Baltic custom so get used to direct friendliness and not faux customer service of the English-speaking world. Unfortunately, I had no cash left to leave a tip otherwise a small business and it’s staff deserve one. The café does take card.More

Just had to stop! It's so cute in a small street by the big plaza. It has inside and outside sitting, internet and bathroom. I came here at around 4pm and there was no sun, but sitting outside felt really nice! I will definitely come...back. I will stay in Tallinn until the end of June and love it so far! I spent €6 for a vanilla pastry and a capuccino! Being tucked in a street you might see some peopke walking by, but it is very peaceful! Staff was really nice! Good internet too! 🥰🙏🏼🥳More

We were looking for good home-made sweets and comments were high for it so we enter. There were not so much choose, but I take a cappuccino cake and my partner a chocolate cake. Than an orange juice (and they have not fresh, only from...bottle) and a glass water (she give us and charge a bottle..ok doesn't matter). Let's take a bite from both sweets.. not bad, but even not good at all! it seems old.. and creams were not soft, and strawberrys look wizened too.. after few bites we just leave half cake because feeling was not good about them.. maybe made days before.. terrible experience, never never back there!More

A beautiful little cafe with a brilliant balance between modern and classic. Situated on a little side street the location is perfect and the cafe itself is very calm. Excellent coffee, lovely chocolate and strawberry cake and very polite, friendly and welcoming service. I would...highly recommend.More

Tucked down one of the tiny laneways you'll find this beautiful cafe with sitting inside and some tables outside. Wonderful ambiance. We enjoyed a coffee break one afternoon and even went back for breakfast on another morning. Great music playing, wonderful treats - great spot...to simply sit and rechargeMore

The Saiakangi Kohvik cafe is a solid place but certainly not the best in Tallinn. We visited on a very cold day in December, just after Christmas. We found the service to be professional if a little abrupt, and the coffee pretty good. The food,...however, was a little bit of a let-down. The sausages and salad were basically hot dog weiners with potato salad. Not terrible but not the standard you'd expect from a Tallinn restaurant. In short, a place to refuel.More

We needed our morning coffee. Got coffee + croissant. They were both very delicious. The way estonians serve customers is still quite unpolite, so next time I choose some other cafe.

A cute looking cafe in a wonderful location. However, in my experience the staff are rude and it is a complete tourist trap. We got charge for a more expensive item of coffee than we ordered. Avoid. There are so many other lovely places in...Old Town.More

Everything was to the max: customer service, taste of the goods, location. Everything. The location was almost too good. Sitting on the terrace was a little crowded because of all the tourist walking by and dropping their jaws when they saw your croissants, cakes and...pies. The customer service was also almost too good. The personnel were soliticous that everyone got enough of everything. And empty dishes were collected as soon as they got empty. So there was no hungry birds trying to get your food. And especially I have to mention the cherry strudel.More

Cute place but the cakes were average. You can find better from the Old Town. The customer service was a bit rude too.

This is one of my favourite coffee shops, cosy in winter, cool in summer. The cafe is easy to get to being just off Town Hall Square and is favoured by the locals. The coffee is good and there is a selection of teas available....The cake selection is not huge but they are tasty and you can get savoury items as well.More

Good pastry but cranky people. Did not even get a full cup of coffee. When I asked to fill cup to fully, got a rambler about the millilitres. Very sad.
