Believe it or not, but it’s good to be in „Pórgu“. An unbelievably large selection of draught beers and their bottled cousins, unearthly delicious à la carte dishes and an almost holy atmosphere. All this makes „Pórgu“ seem like a paradise on earth, where you can feel free and let yourself be carried away by tasting pleasure. *pórgu in english - hell

Best about the Porgu is that if you do not know what to drink, the staff knows what you will drink. And you will like it too. Atmosphere is dim and very interesting cellar experience. I love how the staff is friendly and food is...More

I love Estonian beer and this is my go-to place for trying Estonian craft beer. I had dinner here recently and it was great as usual. They had 15 beers on tap with 13 being Estonian. Even more impressive was their bottle list - 150...More

My husband is a craft beer lover and he was not disappointed by the selection at this pub. We even tried the cheese platter and it was delicious. It was a very nice environment with excellent service.

The best place to try a variety of Estonian porter and some local food treats is Pörgu. This restaurant is situated next to St. Nicholas Church, a little away from the center. It is located in the underground medieval hall that still has the ambiance...More

This was my third visit. Pörgu is an experience. As the title tells, it is a pub with 15 beers on tap and an estimated 400+ bottle ones. If you are a cider drinker, the choice is “merely” 15 bottled ones, mostly local. What makes...More

This used to be my favourite pub in Tallinn - great selection of beer, well done interior design - bespoke chairs and tables and a separate red room. Also surprisingly good food for a pub. Recently, it has been extremely crowded by tourists and very...More

We went to this restaurant on our last night in Tallinn. It is in a basement but is lovely. The staff were the nicest and most welcoming people we had met on our trip. And their service was excellent. We had the best yet cheapest...More

There is an ice skating rink next to the Freedom/Independence square. Porgu is on the street, behind the carpark, behind the rink. It is below ground level, so look out for the sign!
