Food was ok, not fancy, not all wrong. Servers acted quite confused. Tried to bring the bread basket two times and was confused about if we got our main dish or not. Staff clearly are not trained or skilled for the kind of image the...restaurant probably wants to give (relaxed fine dining?). When it was time to pay we were presented with a check including several items we did not have. This is not acceptable. I call it theft. Fortunately we noticed the wrongdoing before leaving and it could be corrected. This restaurant cannot be recommended even if I want to give a lot of slack to young practitioners. Sometimes bad is just bad and is what it is. Such a waste of an excellent location.More
Food with well thought out nuances, looks tempting on the plate and tastes amazing. Good wine selection. Service is friendly and professional, menu was well learned. Atmosphere is cozy and open with sea view. Perfect place to be in any occasion with friends/family/couples. Highly recommended.
Great attention to detail in this restaurant. The food is outstanding enough that the restaurant can confidently go about its business without bad attempts at modern dining theatre. Aside from the black silverware it's not overdone with failed attempts at modernism (like bizarrely shaped plates...you find it hard to eat off of). Well done, Puri. (If I had to make one criticism, I'd say our waiter could have relaxed a bit and enjoyed himself more.)More
Our very first visit to Haven Kakumae but definitely not the last one! Both the menu and the service were fantastic, and also the decoration and appearance of the restaurant with beautiful view to the harbour with sunset didn’t leave anything to wish more.
Vegetarians don't have a lot to choose from - a salad, tomato and a mushroom pasta. Although they were literally perfect - I'd personally be so happy if I saw a vegan opsion also. Though the atmosphere was so nice and cozy, beautiful sunset game...in the sky and amazing service - thank you for everything! :)More
This place had been on my mind for a while. It's a nice area to walk on evenings and enjoy the sunset. But, the food in restaurant was so random. Interior was nice just on the first floor, upper floor reminds more of those cafes...at bus stations, not cosy and too open. View was to the Bay, that's nice. And the service was professional. But overall experience..was so random.More
Excellent food, staff in high quality and view is amazing. All details in interior it's deluxe level
Peaceful marina restaurant with pleasant interior, lovely service and delicious original cuisine. Sea view is a bonus
Thank you very much for your review. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed your experience. Hope to see you again!
Nice interoirclean and fashionable, good professional service. Very good food. Extremely nice view to sea.
Thank you for your feedback. Visit us during the summer and enjoy sea sunsets!
Service started out pleasantly with the porter taking our overcoats and accompanying us to our table. Overall a lovely ambiance with friendly waitstaff. Soon we were served our drinks and a basket of bread, which was delicious. Entrees were pleasant but rather uninspiring. The Avocado...entree was presented very nicely but the salmon was watery, tasteless and cold, likely straight out the fridge. The mushroom entree was pleasant but rather bland. Mains were sadly disappointing, especially for the price charged. 28 euros for an entrecôte steak which had outer bits reminiscent of beef jerky, not even just overcooked but seemed dehydrated. Though was redeemed slightly as the center was cooked a decent medium rare. The duck, which was recommended and ordered as medium rare was overcooked to grey and dry. The duck was accompanied by sweet potato chips which were soaked and felt out of place. The worst, close to inedible was the risotto and Kiev kotlet, which was encompassed in what i can only describe as fried card board and filled with a boiled meatball. Risotto was more akin to rice porridge but edible. As a final hope we ordered the brûlée for desert which left much to be desired, not quite sure what the cornflake covered desert was but doubt that it was brûlée. We kindly voiced our concerns regarding the food, of course the lovely waiter apologised, but no efforts were made to remedy the dismal level of food except for a discounted espresso. Overall, for a restaurant which boasts a chef's table, a far cry from even a passable restaurant. An explanation may be the visit in January (the low season), though a restaurant should not open its doors if it cannot provide a consistent service and dining experience. As a final note this is a restaurant I have visited before and found the food to be good.More
Dear sir! We sincerely apologize for your bad experience in our restaurant. As much as we'd like to give an explanation why the food was a disappointment for you, we feel that it does not compensate your bad experience enough. We have made some changes...More
Beautiful place but very bad service- girl was constantly lost, forgot several things in order and food was on plain average level.More

For me the best part was the place itself, nice location by the sea at brand new yacht port. The building itself is beautiful and I also liked restaurant rooms - more like big city style. Food itself was average. For starter mozarella ballon was...impressive but the taste was plain and it was very uncomfortable to eat from the deep round plate. And complicated to put anywhere fork, nife - the plate was not suitable for it. It seems that bread is baked there may be once a week and unfortunately Friday is not that day. Duck breast was nice but no new emotions and everything around duck was very weak. Would give 4 points for starter and 6 for duck out of 10. The second best thing after interior was dessert. Variations of chocolate was super, different structures and dark chocolate mousse. This was great, 11 points out of 10. Coffee was good, they serve carafe water and collect 2.5 euros for that. I won't go again for food but may be for the views if they open summer terrace.More
Thank you for the detailed review. The feedback will be passed to our chef and we will think about serving of mozzarella ballon as well. Anyway, we'll be waiting for you in summer to enjoy stunning sunsets and tasty desserts with coffee on a terrace.
In Puri Chef’s Side I got sincerely the best food experience that I ever have had. The risotto is something that I still think of! Just amazing! Service was nice, polite and sophisticated - they change the napkins when you go to the toilet etc...We took the 6 course menu and definitely would recommend it! And the location - you have to go and see the sunsets there!More
Great place with amazing evening view for a relaxing dinner for two, especially at sundown. Quite expensive, yet the quality of food overwhelms everything. Seafood and cocktails were absolutely stunning.
Thank you for the feedback. We are extremely happy that you enjoyed the evening, sunset and the food. Hope to see you again!
