The worst food I have ever eaten. I ordered a portion of sausage with cabbage and potatoes (traditional food). In reality, Sausages were prepared with wheat grains and blood. Something more horrible I have never tasted! The children ate a very bad tasting beef burger...(they actually left it on the plate). But those sausages tasted like paper, and the menu didn't say they were made from blood and wheat.More

This restaurant is pricey for the amount and quality of food it offers, but here I could find some local food that other restaurants do not have. Plus the waitresses were polite.

We were waiting for the meal for the very very long time. Part of us were already finishing desert while others hadn’t get their main course yet. Food wasn’t so good. And service poor. Zero attention to customer.

We visited here on a short day trip from Helsinki. It was a lovely warm day and we sat outside and ate. I had the Wild Boar and a really nice Honey Beer followed by an apple pie. The service was quick and friendly and...the view across the square is nice. I would definitely recommend eating here if you are in Tallinn.More

We visited Old Estonia a couple of nights ago, in a group of 9 persons. I have always tried to avoid restaurants around Town Hall Square, since they seem to be just expensive tourist traps. This time it was really cold outside and we really...needed something warm to drink. Others had gluhweins etc, which cost 12-14 euros each. Me and my partner had mint cocoas (hot chocolate with some mint liqueur), which cost 2x24=48 euros! Ordered by the counter, and on the contrary of others we were not asked to pay right away, we paid just before leaving. Paying double/triple amount of reasonable price made me feel stupid and frustrated. Never again!More

Ate here twice for lunch during Christmas Market. First time I had the local pork loin, and it was excellent. Had the same a couple of days later, and it was awful. That's the one I'll remember, unfortunately. Second one, the pork was dry, tough,...not hot, and despite explaining I am seriously onion intolerant, the green salad was covered in raw onion. Toilet was really not clean. Staff on the second visit seemed completely disinterested in their customers, and the older gentleman trying to get people passing outside, kept slamming the door, if was properly shut at all, and glaring. We ordered the salmon soup as the photo outside depicted a hearty chunky salmon filled soup. Very disappointed .Probably more salmon in a cheap tin of soup. Tasted OK but grossly over priced. Very disappointed

Ideal location. A bit pricey but the king prawns and the chicken shashlik are great! Would recommend!

There are a number of eateries/bars around the square in Tallinn, this being but one of them. A pleasant enough spot but be aware, the prices are westernized. It is much cheaper just off the square at one of the many other similar places. Still,...we enjoyed a beer on a hot day, as there were plenty of shade umbrellas up. The service was efficient and friendly. Plenty of beer options. Plenty of food options although we didnt eat here. The only let down was the the crazy man trying to hassle passers by into the bar. Otherwise we can recommend it here, although all the other were quite similar.More

Avoid! Before the drinks and food even arrived, I said to my family "we probably found the worst restaurant in Tallinn". I was correct. The restaurant was half empty and the food took ages to arrive! Beef tenderloin tastes weird - was most likely old...and dirty just like the restaurant.More

Great location-that is about it. The food is bad and extremly expensive. Aperol for 14€! Check you bill twice and don't forget to ask for change. I had to pay 44€ and didn't get change from 50€ untill asking for it! Very enoying!!

Few People, we ordered pork. After half hour it came, raw! We asked a new one and 2 glasess of Red wine. After asking three times for our drinks, they arrived HOT. The New pork, we waited over one hour. Finally we left, hungry. Two...beers and bad, hot wine 35€. Never again.More
