I have visited them dozens of times now and can say they have come a long way since opening. Their menu is interesting and food really nice. Provided the right person is in the kitchen. It seems their main issue is that the quality varies depending on who is preparing the food as you can get one and the same thing in vey different tastes. I’m not very impressed with their lunch menu most of the time, they should be able to do much better, but the dinner menu is cool. And the wine selection is excellent.
Also the interior is one of a kind and the place welcoming, I keep going there hoping they get the last things ok too eventually 😊 well done you guys (although it is getting too pricey to visit very often)!

I've been there a couple of times. It's a cosy place and has outdoor seating that's relatively protected from wind. Lovely for those frequent sunny yet windy days. When you're inside, the service is at the table. When you sit outside, you have to order at the counter but the only way you find that out is by trial and error unless you go and ask. So we sat at the table for a good 15 minutes until one of us just went in and grabbed some menus. Had we not had vouchers to spend, we'd probably left elsewhere. Perhaps the management could consider having some signs up?
Oh, the food's ok, we had pizzas, though on the overly salty side. So you'll probably cover your salt intake for a couple of days in one go.

We had lunch here. Grilled salmon, with what i belive was, pearl couscous. This was served with a little fresh lettuce and tomatoes and one spoon of tomato sauce.

Service was inexistant and rude, waitresses seemed like they were reluctantly forced to take your order and let you pay for your food at the bar, 0 smiles during the stay, not even handing you the menu or providing assistance (menu was estonian-only). Get someone who is happy to do this job and take your money, shouldnt be too difficult during corona... Allday breakfast was ok though.

1.5 month later and quality is downhilling. First experience was good, but now is NOT OK. Service very slow. Pizza was burnd and very, very salty. Waiter did not apologize, did not say any word-just disappeared. Also Crostini tasted old oil/fat.
Place where is no proper website and menu is not OK. Avoid!

It is a small place, not crowded at all on a Sunday afternoon but it taok forever to get just a coffee and cake (taken from the counter!). When complained, the young and important waitress lectured me on them having big crowd (not true!) and being super busy, obviously the place is not efficient or well organized. Sad!

This book cafe is one of the most adorable ones I have ever been to! Such cozy and inviting interior, great book selection, delicious food and great service. Fell in love with the place totally. Must go back and will be back.

the wine selection was good but the wines were served cold in the same way as the dishes! There are many places to eat in Telliskivi area, choose something else!

A little bit hidden in Telliskivi, it's a bookshop-restaurant type of place, which we really liked. So you can simply wander around the shop during your visit or while waiting for your food. The interior is cozy and reminds of visiting a friend's place.
NB! They also have nice daily offers!
Their food menu is quite long and during summertime they also have a terrace menu. What's more is their opening hours: 8AM- 11PM during workdays and up to 12PM during weekend & they even serve breakfast :).

We were with 3 kids and when our toddler crying, we were asked immediately to leave. We have three kids 2,5,8 years old. We love travelling and know what it means eating out. This experience was shocking for Estonian standards. Kids behaved extremely well, one just started crying (I get it, it wasn’t sobbing), but that usually is not a reason for immediate departure. When we arrived it took 10 minutes to get someone to talk to us. Food was average at best. Pasta over creamed. Tomato soup tasted for canned dish. Coffee served on top of dirty dishes, which we could not finish, even refund was refused first. When other guests also said that there was nothing wrong with our children’s behaviour, they went into educating how children should behave and controlled in places like this and we should imagine how it was to work 13 hour shifts in the constant noise like this. So please, let them have some quiet hours, do not disturb! Or if you do only with quiet book-reading children.

Hello, thank you for your feedback and our most sincere apologies! I was very surprised to read your feeback in the most unpleasant way. That sort of behaviour is both unbelievable and unacceptable and in no way does it reflect our policy towards children or families and in no way does it go together with our service standard. We all get it, that children laugh, cry and make loud noises, it is part of what they do, as being hospitable is part of what a server should do. This was a pure improvisational solo of one of our servers on her last day at work.
Should you feel like giving us another chance, we would like you to visit us again, so that we can show you, what our hospitality really is like and that time your dinner will be on us.
