Resturant is in the savoy hotel, very centraly located and we had a nice big table. Started of with the recomendations of the chef the goat cheese with beetroot which was excellent. The dark bread and butter was good which is served on the table....For the main had the marinated whitefish in a delicate sauce with some mushrooms on top this dish was as well recommended by the chef. Along a good choice of white and red wines. Closed with the black current ice cream which is not dark on a base of strawberries, which sounds better but lacks taste. Took some more pictures of some of the other dishs we had. Very plesant evening with a good service.More

Me and the wife went for a unplanned dinner at our hotel restaurant and was amazed by a perfectly seasoned and prepared meal. It was the best food I had in years and we will eat here again soon. Big plus to the waitress but...the gold 🌟 to the chef.More

We’re staying at the Savoy Boutique Hotel in Tallinn and the Mekk is it’s own restaurant. Good menu choices. Tasty food. Friendly service. Well worth a visit.

We’ve been in Tallinn for a week and couldn’t find a place to enjoy gourmet food till we stumbled on to this gem. Chef Rene is a magician we had whitefish tartar, red caviar appetizers incredible Main course braised calf cheeks are dreamy the bread...dark loaf that they bake on premises with butter and salt is hard to described need to taste it. We came back for lunch as well the next day because were leaving next evening. If I had known about this restaurant we would of eaten here every day! Please don’t miss it’s located at the Savoy!More

The name means tastes and that is what we got. The appetizer was warious local tastes from Estonia delicately served. I had beef stroganof as main course and it was tasteful with good chunks of meat. Cheesecake with ice and burnt sugar, creme brulee style,...as dessert. The service we got was also excellent.More

Spent the day in Tallinn and heard about this restaurant. The food was superb and the chef even came out to say hello. A must for any visit!

When there’s something in the drink, please don’t make the guest show the staff what and where, charge a full price, and then never ask for new drinks for the rest of the meal. The meat was not well done even though it was specifically...asked for. This dinner did not fulfill the service expectations, or necessary precautions that we asked for due to pregnancy. It even ended discriminating when my company got a reduced price for another matter, and the drink was charged fully. Distinct-tasting lamb. Of course faults can happen, but it’s how you make the wrongs right that’ll be remembered.More

Nice small place where they take good care of the customers and ypu feel very welcome. Next time in Tallin we will get back here. The bread they make is really good also, so we bought a bread to take home with us. Thank you...again. The gentleman who serviced us was very professional! Best regards from NorwayMore

My rating is usually a bit tougher - not all Michelin stars got 5! The menu is nice and interesting and also the food was good. Lot of local stuff and interesting touches. We were 3 and ordered different dishes. White fish and quail were...our favourites. Normally wines are priced 2 times of shop price. In this resto 3 times. We ordered french wine of 2015. I warned that every 2nd time I order wine, resto does not have it. Waiter came back and the wine was the same but the year was 2017. As there was no other wine to match 3 dishes, we took and told the price of the wine can't be the same. Apparently waiter was not instructed about such case and we had to pay the price for 2015 wine. I am not complaining about the service - waiter was great. Resto does not have procedures how to handle such cases.More

The space design is “Cool-Nordic-Chic”, which CAN be intimidating, but get over it because this place is definitely worth your time. Great food (ESPECIALLY the lunch menu), great staff . . . We’ve only been in town two days and we’ve eaten here three times...already! I hope they don’t get tired of us before we have to leave.More
