I cannot fault this restaurant in anyway. The service was excellent and the decor was lovely. The food itself was sublime. Very high class restaurant and would highly recommend!

Restaurants at hotels do not typically offer gourmet food at decent prices but this one does. They are fortunate to have a creative Chef in the kitchen. Food presentation was excellent using a wide variety of elements - artistic really. The trout was fantastic and...the goose very good. Prices much better than old town. The ambiance was quite pleasing, that is until a bus group of about 30+ entered the restaurant making it difficult to carry a conversation with my wife. Would be nice if they could separate large groups from the rest, but it's all about the food. Highly recommend, especially if you are staying at Centennial Hotel.More
We had a late night dinner here when we stayed recently at the Centennial Hotel. The weather was very rainy so it was nice to be able to get a good meal without leaving the hotel.
As guests of the Centennial hotel, we had dinner at this restaurant on our first night and this only added to the first good impression that we had of the whole place. The menu, although with a pretty limited range of dishes, was actually impressive...through the choice it offered, i.e. Estonian dishes which are very nicely described and do make you want to try them. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendliness of the waitresses will make you want to come agian and try the rest of the dishes. We had Rabbit with black pudding, gyromitra esculenta and celery root and Corn chicken with a boletus filling, butternut squash and mushroom broth and some extra grilled vegetables on the side. While we were waiting for the dishes, they offered us warm little bread onion buns with butter which were also delicios. The visit to this restaurant was indeed worth it as part of our Tallinn experience.More
This is actually the attractive, lower-ground, L -shaped dining area of the new Centennial Hotel. Lots of tables in various configurations positioned around a room which is both stylish and modern. The tight menu is very focussed on Estonian cuisine, and diners will not be...uninformed as they make their choices; the history and component for each dish is explained in considerable detail. Quite a comprehensive wine list, although lower end options quite expensive. When we visited on a Sunday evening, we were the only diners in residence. Having perused the menu quite thoroughly and eliminated things that were maybe just a touch too unusual, we didn't really go too Estonian after all. Mrs EPR and I both enjoyed or duck pancake starters very much indeed. Plenty of tasty pulled meat in a BBQ-style sauce with three perfect little pancakes and a pot of plum sauce for dipping. However, whilst I was then quite happy with my main course of a well-cooked beefsteak, Mrs EPR was less so. Her corn-fed chicken breast, whilst tender, was filled with rather an unwelcome boletus paste. But we did like the accompanying side dishes of a creative collection of grilled vegetables and some crispy chips. We were looking forward to trying something called a President's Cake for dessert but we were told that the kitchen had closed and that the restaurant would soon be shutting down too. This was at about 9.45 p.m. We got the bill instead. Our efficient and unobtrusive waitress had simultaneously been manning the near-deserted bar at the other end of the room - which also shut at 10 p.m. so no post-meal drinks either. So rather an eerily pleasant, but anti-climactic, evening.More
1/01/2019 took place one gentleman’s 80 y jubilee with ab 40 guests in age of 40+ in most, with some younger representatives. “Excellent” is the proper price for all the categories - food, interior, atmosphere, performance of the stuff and whole orginisation of this unforgettable...party. I would grant the “Michelin Star” for Restaurant “100” if it would be in my power. Special thank to the Chief of the stuff Mr. Oleg Alasi for the proffessional and perfect performance!!!More
Vegetarian dishes were really tasty, as well as beautiful. Nice atmosphere, too. Service was pleasant and quick, even considering it was quite late in the evening. Semolina mousse is lovely, do try it!
Having spent a week in Tallinn and having enjoyed the superb breakfasts in this restaurant for the past week we decided to have a special last night meal in this restaurant before our flight home the following day. We had an absolutely superb evening meal...which simply could not have been any better. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly waiter. Wonderful presentation of tasty food, good quantities and well thought through menu. Excellent value too which we hadn’t expected.More
Had chilly con carne as a lunch offer the other day. It was served with rice and home made guacamole as I would say by the taste. It was pretty good but for me could have been a little more spicy. The salad bar looked...good. Definitely will go back for salad and soup.More
