Ok food overshadowed by lacking service

TLDR - Abysmal service, ok food, nice location. Service is seriously lacking here. After eating it took an hour to get any kind of attention from the FoH team. We would’ve stayed for more drinks and dessert but by the time our mains were cleared we were so sick of waiting and being attacked by wasps we just got the bill and left. For context there were three servers for maybe 10 tables, so enough front of house staff for the customers as anyone that’s done their time working in hospitality could tell you. Just bafflingly slow service when you would think they would want to turn tables as fast as possible with so many tourists around. Also expect to have a little trouble ordering if you want to speak Estonian or English as they had trouble understanding native speakers of both. Russian seems to be preferred. Location is nice, but that’s true for everywhere in the Old Town. There are more competently run restaurants on the square. Food was ok but nothing special. Ribs were dry but tasted ok and burger was fine. Not really good enough though when you consider they don’t come with sides (that’s extra :) ) and they’re over 10€ for most mains on the menu. Honestly just go to a Hesburger. You would think for a place named for their burgers and ribs they would try to get the burgers and ribs right?

Even though on the picture

Even though on the picture burger looks more less decent, in reality it was completely tasteless. Patties tasted like they were boiled and not fried completely lacking seasoning. Also, keep in mind that they charge 18€ for this. Ribs were also uninspired, didn’t make a pic unfortunately.

Terrible service, poor food and bad value for money

For a restaurant in the main square, this was shockingly bad. It’s overpriced and the food was awful. If there are any positive points, it would be the view from outside eating area of the Old Town Hall was nice, but I’m reviewing the service itself so that isn’t in the rating. I ordered the Cheese & Bacon burger…and that came was very tasteless and overstocked. Half of the sauce was already out of the side and 60% of it was just lettuce. And you don’t get anything else, no fries, chips, just the bun, and for €10+, you tell me if this is value for money. It tasted average. Most of it had to be rebuilt by myself, but it was mainly a lettuce burger. Then the service was slow. Even once I’d finished, nobody bothered to clear my wooden board away that was used instead of a plate, and it was a pain to stop everything blowing away. After getting impatient, I had to actually tell them to come and take it away. The place was under half full so nobody was busy. Then she came out with the bill. I asked if I could at least look at the desserts menu and she looked confused then realised she’d have to redo the bill again. I told her to forget it and just paid to get away from the place. And too top it off, they didn’t have change of a €20 note to pay for a €13.20 burger and can of coke. Just a farce of a place in a tourist trap area. Avoid

One of the worst

Home made lemonade was just a syrup with sparkling water and ice, wasn't even stirred or mixed, so the syrup was in the bottom, tasted awful and price was 4,50 euros. Naked burger was a bit burned from the outside, dry and raw from the inside, Salad's amount very small on side and I wouldn't call it a salad, also some old green leaves were inside, not even sure if it was washed before the use. Place looked sloppy, toilet not clean, no hand towels at this time of the corona era. Service unprofessional. I am sorry, but I cannot give better review.

Juicy burgers

Right in the main square, we enjoyed people watching as we are. Our buyers were flavorful and juicy. I opted for the sweet potato fries which were yummy. Filling, reasonably priced and a great location to sit and enjoy a meal.

A lovely little restaurant, nice food

Very nice place to eat, great food. I got a burger, my partner got soup and my son got pasta (which was brought from the owner’s other restaurant because they didn’t have it on the menu here. Very impressed. The burger was excellent.

Garlic bread is not even a garlic bread and cheesecake is not even a cheesecake. The chicken wings were old, dry and just heated up. Don't go there.

Delightful and big burger,your on vacation relax a bit!

So wife and I had great burger and desert,I had a beer and `San had coffee. The burger was large and delicious. The chocolate layer cake was also delicious. So yes the service is slower but very friendly. And only 16,70 Euros not expensive at all. Hey your most likely on a vacation...chill out dudes! It is Europe, a slower life style and better for healthiness!

Nice lunch

I was there at the end of October. I was looking for a nice place to eat in the city centre without spending a lot of money. This local it's a good compromise between quality and fair price. The burgers are tasty, the service nice and also the location. Fair even the price.

Party of 9 stopped here for lunch. A word of warning - don't bother. For a restaurant with burger in their title you would expect them to be excellent. Nothing could be further from the truth. The burgers were lukewarm, under cooked in the middle and absolutely tasteless. None who had burgers managed to finish their lunch. Avoid at all costs.
