Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A nice and cozy place by the marketplace. Very friendly staff and the dishes we had (salmon and chicken + dessert) were superb.

Great food! We had peipsi koha and It was absolutely great. Highly recommend that! Children food and the burger was not that excellent due to the fact that mayo was under the steak. We recommend to have that in a side cup, All children do...not like mayo.More

We ordered the mussels and the tiramisu. Both dishes were extremely delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Went there for a lunch but came back for dinner the next day. Not touristy! Not expensive! But: Friendly (as always in Estonia!). Tasty! A good dinner.

The staff was really unfriendly. I started speak english but the waiter asked me to change finnish. Then I said my order in finnish (chicken ceasar salad). When we got our food my sallad was missing chicken. I asked about it from our waiter but...he denied all and said I was oredered it without chicken. I never got the chicken and waiter didn't even apologised. It was really bad experience in here and I'm never going back.More

First we had a lovely cappuccino, served by a friendly waitress, then had drinks and a great shrimp snack. We were outside on the terrace in the sunshine, overlooking the buzzing market square. We used the clean bathroom and noticed that the restaurant is wonderfully...decoreated. When we ever return, we will surely go back. Because the meals the gentlemen behind us were enjoying, looked very good!More

Was recommended as an Estonian restaurant. Sat inside as was cold out even though most people were sitting outside. Had a nice table in the window to look out onto the square but be warm. Only really had one dish the pike perch grilled fish...which came with grilled vegetables and some potato. They also brought bread to the table. The service was prompt. The fish was very good. And attractively presented.More

We had expected more from the history of high scores. The starter was very nice and probably authentic Estonian but main course was pretty boring. The service was basically poor and the staff did really not have a good hand on things. Advice to the...chef: be more bold and make real Estonian foods.More

I was keen to try a sprat sandwich whilst in Tallinn and struggled to find many spots however Kaerajaan does them and I am glad I went. Located on the main square, if you sit by the window you can watch the world go by....Nice modern decor and restaurant is spacious. The sandwich was very well presented with great flavours, not just a simple sandwich I really enjoyed it. Service was excellent, a little pricey for the size but it was very good so don’t mind paying. Definitely recommend for lunch in Tallinn.More
