This restaurant is across the street from Hotel Telegraaf where we were staying, so we walked in at mid-day and made a reservation for the same evening. We were asked to choose the table we wanted, which we did. The dining room is attractive with thick brick walls painted white, heavy wooden beams and leaded glass windows. There was snowy linen and fresh flowers. When the time arrived, we were greeted and seated. Service was good; in addition to the delicious meal we ordered, there was an amuse bouche and a palate cleanser of sorbet in prosecco. It was a very pleasant experience.

We chose this restaurant as a treat for our last night in Tallinn, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The wine list is extensive with much choice.
The food was excellent with tasty treats from the chef.
Above all the service was exemplary with very knowledgeable staff who were able to recommend wines to match the food.

Amazing food, amazing service, spotlessly clean - attention to detail was fantastic. From start to finish was an incredible experience, lovely touches with the taster and the home made bread. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable and able to advise how best the food should be cooked and wine description. Hubby had the Iberian pork and I had the deer. Absolutely incredible experience. Thank you so much.

What a pity: after an expensive meal (more than 90 euros/person) but rather successful, we decided to go back the next day and booked a specific table (giving phone and full contact details). Arriving on time, our table was taken; facing our astonishment, when we asked the reason, no excuse was made but a malotru replied "it just happened"! We were certainly offered another (misplaced) table, which we obviously refused. For a restaurant so pretentious, such a lack of professionalism is simply inexcusable. Run unless you like to be treated rudely by incompetent and pretentious waiters.

Dominic’s is an excellent restaurant. The service was unrushed and perfect which complimented a wonderful choice of wines - we chose one of the 5 Amarones on offer - and excellently cooked food. We had the foie gras followed by the lamb and both were delicious. My desert was a tempting combination of cheesecake - Gorgonzola and White Chocolate with a Gooseberry Sorbet. Unique and delicious.

We had dinner at Dominic on a Saturday and turned up without a reserved and we were surprised to be seated (so thankful!).
We ordered the whitefish tartar (delicious) and for mains I had the crab and scallop risotto which was very good and my husband picked the Venison main. All the food was great. We ordered wine and other drinks too.
Lovely experience, very attentive staff and we felt very looked after. Thank you!

Our second time here, this time by group of 10 friends and it went again so excelent by food and service. Food was 10+. Maincourse deer fillet was so perfect and also pike pearch with shrimp sauce get full points. Greetings from kitchen mango sorbet was maybe the best I have ever taste! Male waiter who take care us in our cabinet deserve at least same reviews. Everything goes so smooth, food keeps coming, his small talk and glasses were never empty! His professionalism makes big impression to us! Also the athmosphere and cigar room get our wows. Thank you and hope we meet soon again!!

This is a fantastic place for a very special, romantic dinner. The experience started with an excellent amuse bouche salmon (compliments of the chef) and a divine cured duck, duck liver mousse and blackcurrant jam appetizer.
Then another complimentary treat: sorbet topped with champagne. Then we proceeded to the main courses: calf liver and duck, which were both extraordinary in terms of both taste and presentation and paired with excellent Italian and Spanish wine recommended by our very diligent server. We were so sorry to not be hungry enough for a dessert! A very special culinary experience in Tallinn!

Absolutely outstanding. The food was excellent as was the service. The wine list was extensive and the sommelier was able to assist in selecting a variety of wines. The atmosphere was lovely. This place is worth every penny and we will definitely be back!

Easy to book ahead of our trip from the UK and just as easy to find the restaurant.
It lived up to it's reviews of fine dining in a beautiful building. From the amuse bouche (excuse spelling please) through to the recommendation of ice cold Vans our waitress certainly earned her tip.
The restaurant was full on a Saturday night but we were never rushed and our leisurely meal was an unbelievable 3hrs of shear delight.
The dishes were perfectly executed; designed to showcase the ingredients as well as the talents of the chefs served with perfect timing and a lightful palette cleanser.
A limited menu (which is often a good portent for quality) all the dishes we sampled were savour worthy.
Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and recommended well matched drinks.
A lit candle and rendition of "happy birthday to you" for my husband from the pianist (the 2nd of the night) was the icing on the cake, and yes, our souvenir Vana will be going straight into the freezer.
I can't recommend more highly.

We had the best relaxed meal at Restaurant Dominic. We were shown to a table in the back of the restaurant. The room with ancient beams was beautiful and inviting. As you walk in you start to appreciate this restaurant in the Old Town caters for both locals and tourists. They have an extensive wine list and staff who are passionate about what they do. We were immediately impressed by the beautiful young lady who knew her wine & cocktails. We asked for cocktails to start with. Both cocktails were made to perfection. We also enjoyed a half bottle of wine. We ordered the Foie Gras and Lavaret starters both were excellent but I would go as far to the Foie was the best outside of France I have eaten. For the mains we had Pike & Roe deer. Both were cooked to perfection and deer was extremely tender and just melted in your mouth. We finished with Chocolate ganache for dessert. Which was washed down with another excellent cocktail & glass of Jääsiider / Ice Cider. Salee thank you for making my last evening in Tallinn extra special. You definitely know your food and drinks. By the way that black bread was also a hit with my kids and thank you for the loaf as as a gift. As I told you yesterday you are extremely passionate about your work and it shows. I cannot wait to return to Tallinn to see you and taste the excellent food and drinks.
Thank you.

The best restaurant food we have ever eaten! From starters to desserts, all flavor combinations were just perfect👌😋
The menu is short, which also tells you that everything is done carefully and professionally. (The list had changed a bit from what appears on the website, but not in bad way)
The staff was nice and my husband, who doesn’t know the wines, got expert help. The place was nice and the women's toilet was wonderfully atmospheric and worth seeing 😁
We will definitely go again!!

Domenic was on our “must visit again” list for a return trip to Tallinn and it did not disappoint. Despite being very busy, the service was excellent and the food exceeded already high expectations. The deer in particular was noteworthy.
Located across the street from the Hotel Telegraaf on Vene street, the decor is very attractive. Due to its intimate setting and popularity, reservations are recommended.
We look forward to a return visit in the future!

I had dinner here for the first time this week. It was dreadful. As others have said, this restaurant thinks it’s a formal restaurant but it’s really not. They do have a vast wine cellar.
However, the staff are untrained and arrogant. I don’t need to be told to drink ‘white wine with fish’ (it’s not 1970!) and to have a nose turned up when not choosing the most expensive wines.
And then there’s the food. Both of my (fish) courses were cold and tasteless. Thé crème brûlée was from the fridge!
A little bit of an amuse bouche or some sorbet misses the point here.
As others have said, a major change is required here. I don’t recommend it and wouldn’t return.

Good service, nice staff, tasty food. However a bit overpriced. But escargots as a starter and quail breast fillet as a main course were tasty including quail hearts were a bit hard or even odd.
