How is Berliini Trahter rated?

My title "confusing" says how we felt after our dinner. Restaurant's name is Berlin Tavern, but menu has everything from Tom Yum(=Thai) and Nachos(=TexMex) to Pastas(=Italian) and Borsch(=Russian). Also their pricing is little strange. Cheapest wine is 33€ per bottle, which is a lot in...small Estonian town. There are also soups cheaper than snacks and main courses cheaper than appetizers. But then something positive also, central location with nice terrace, friendly service and OK foodMore

A nice and inviting place, good food

The food is not the best, but it was well made and the portions were nice. They have a good selection for every taste. Prices a re a bit high but reasonable.

Good service, good food

After a long day at work, our group needed a quick dinner so we ended up to this place. It was a nice surprise that service was very quick and we got our foods in no time. I must say I had the best mashed...potatoes I have ever had. This was the reason why we chose this place for dinner next day also before leaving Estonia :)More

Amazing value high-quality lunch

We had a 90 minute bus trip stopover and had a lunch from the daily special menu: an amazing minced meat soup, an extraordinary salmon risotto and a coffee for less than 10 euros. A big stuffed bear greets you on arival but don't be...put off. This is a fantastic place and the staff were so friendly and efficient.More

Nice place, great location good service

Low interest to customers

Dirty tables on the terraces, waiting time for service was more than 15 minutes, low interest to customers. Left 2 times for these reasons.

No service

Waited 30min for beers and small snack, never received them. Other people got service and drinks even ordered and arrived after us.

Overpriced avarage taste

Menu is over priced. Considering all that you get, not much, left no big impression. Staff not once come to us. You get better food for better price in many other places.

Good cheese-balls

Cheese-balls were awesome. Mu salad dressing was too sour. However avacado and mango were nice. Ribs were fatty, but french fries were good.

Pub style

Nice pub dishes. Very wide choice of salads, starters, meat and fish. Also soups are available. Very nutritious. Acceptable prices, friendly service.

Fine dine in a bar

We went to eat late in friday night. Place wasn't too crowded. Bigger groups should have reservation because it's not very big. Menu had many very good options. We had appertites and main courses. Those were really delicious!! Super friendly service. Open very late and...is suitable for dining and chilling with friends. The place is not quiet and if you are seeking peaceful place for eating, this might not be it. We really enjoyed our dine.More

Fabulous food

Every time I go to Rakvere this is a must stop at restaurant! A variety of great foods along with fresh bread and different types of butters.
