Very popular place among the locals. Very neat, really tasty home made Estonian food available at very inexpensive prices. Perhaps a little language problems, which could be solved with good attitude! Taste what the locals like!

I've had breakfast there a number of times and one lunch. The food that I ordered was good, but it came with the same garnishes/salads on the plate every time: lettuce, tomato (which I can't eat), sliced fresh cucumber, the obligatory bowl of Estonian sour...cream. I quickly switched to other cafes in the town which had more interesting plates.More

I was really surprised by this place and NOT in a good way. First the name - its called a cafe but it's really just a diner. The second thing I noticed almost immediately was that the place is dirty. And really dirty. Half the...tables had empty plates and glasses on them and the other half were not cleaned. So we struggled to find a place to sit. We just chose the one that was least dirty. The toilet smelled like it was soaked in urine. The floor was dirty and and had some trash laying around. And last the food - almost inedible. I ordered some kind of mega grill burger. While it was definitely MEGA (and that word does not do it justice - it could have fed 3 grown men) I failed to see the part of it which was grilled. The burger meat itself was some cheap store brought meat patty that was dry and didn't taste of much anything. And then there was a pile of random vegetables in the burger that just didn't match with anything. I really didn't like it, but since I was famished I ate about a fifth of it and left. And the music playing there - just unbearable. They had some 90's disco song playing on a 30 second loop. It was funny for the first 2 minutes but got really annoying really fast. After 20 minutes you just want to leave and never come back. As far as the staff goes it was OK. Nothing stood out. The prices are really low. But frankly that's not a good thing. The quality of the food suffers severely and it attracts customers you just don't want to sit close to. The only thing actually positive about this place was the interior. I'm not saying the interior was nice but it was much better than everything. Please don't visit this place - places like this should not exist.More

We went there on December for lunch, place is quite full all the time (local people), taste is very average (our boiled potato was hard as it was baked) but prices are quite cheap. I took Grilled burger and it was huge (cost was around...5 euros) and taste wasnt bad at all (can recommend you to take it if you are going there). It's a canteen-type diner: there is a selection of daily specials (mostly typical Estonian staples of meat, potatoes, cabbage soup, etc) as well as some salads and dishes you can choose from the chalk board.
