Food was delicious and portions big! Unfortunately they didn't have any pelmenis at the time we visited (eventhough the place was mostly empty). I ended up taking creamy chicken pot with potatoes and it was very good! The portion was so big that I couldn't...finish that after appetizers. The service was ok, the waiter didn't really speak English but at least he tried. I can gladly recommend the place.More
Food is tasty and with good value for money. Just making it takes a lot of time. Main courses are not arriving to table at the same time.
At time of our visit there was 3 tables, rotallimg only 7 people.
It's a small joint. Only one elderly lady to take care. We had herrings with onions, warm chicken salad, seljanka with meat soup, chicken Kiev, pork casserole and few local drinks.
Prices are reasonable.
The food was superb. Soup very filling. Main course also very...tasty and filling. Rice was different taste from normal rice. Overall we had a superb food.
The old lady was very accommodating.we being from India she was very helpful in giving her views about the food.More
A side of the warm white wine, what they offered ( without explaining that they don’t have in cold), food was very, very good! Simple but tasty! Portions so big that even my husband left some on the plate! Very cheap also, for 3 courses,...including wine and coffee, we payed 53€More
If you would like to taste Slavic menu with reasonable pricing and you are not looking for white tablecloths, then this is the place to go.
We had family dinner with children – they have baby chairs and colored pencils to draw for smaller ones...meanwhile you wait your order.
Even the guy forget to bring some drinks in the first step, but all the food was very tasty. Our local friends recommended to choose filled meet dumplings (pelmeni) with lamb meat in a mushroom sauce and that was really delicious. And take some non-alco root-beer called "kali" (or kvass in Russian) with your food, its bit sweet, but real Slavic mix. Well positioned in terms of value for money.More
We expected more from restaurant which is ranked 4th place in Rakvere. The food was really low quality and when I pointed that the mashed potatoes are not from real potatoes (which is unacceptable) the waitress just said ,,ok,,
