Exxellent food. Historical miljö, old furniture etc. In centrum of old city. Frendly and quick service.

When we received a disgusting dose of rudeness from waitress side, we left this place without ordering food.
If you are fond of medieval food this is a must visit. Atmosphere, service and food is everything you can wait from medieval time. Even good only for cake and coffee.
Stopped in Parnu for lunch en route between Riga and Tallinn. Cold, wet day, and in the short time we had, the log fire felt inviting. The restaurant is really quirky, but the chicken soup with lots of bread was first class, and beer served...in pottery mugs to add to the ambiance. Some of our friends tried the smoked cheese soup and pronounced it delicious. Service was not the fastest, but that was OK as we sipped our beers in front of the fire.More
Great atmosphere, decent food. Price level above local customers.. very quiet now in the middle of season.. bad weathers..
Very friendly service and very tasty Roast Bear!Interesting Medieval music and super nice atmosphere! Wery good place where the time is stops and you may go back to the future. ☺
Unfortunately 1 point needs to be given, thou zero would be more reality. Service was good, facilities are good, but the food was discusting and over priced. To be avoided. There are many much better places nearby.
Good central location in Old Town. Medieval restaurant in ancient building and waitresses dress like from those days too. They also serves as a breakfast room for Hotel St. Peterburg. Not the cheapest place in Pärnu, but interesting interior and tasty food, so worth of...visitMore
We visited the restaurant with a group of four. We picked the place because of two previous favorable Tripadvisor reviews. At the first glance the place seemed atmospheric and somewhat cozy. After picking a nice set table by the window near the fireplace we were...told that the table had been reserved although there weren't no other customers during the whole visit. Instead our table was located near the entrance and although it was June, the weather was really chilly outside. We ended up eating with our coats on. The pricing was a notch higher compared to other restaurants in Pärnu and we expected the quality of the food to follow. For our vegetarian companion's disappointment there wasn't a single main course without meat or fish. She had to order soup and salad from starter menu. On the top of that the dishes were served in opposite order so the cold salad came after the warm soup. The salad had chicken in it so she had to return it and ask for a new one with the blue cheese she ordered in the beginning with. Other three main course dishes were ok although they were quite dry and lacked sauce or something else to balance the portion. Pricing and sizes of the dishes and beverages didn't meet at all. For example, a glass of half a liter of water cost 3 euros and the glass held more like 2 dl of liquid. We felt slightly ripped off. Overall, the taste of the food was ok but nothing memorable. The service was sluggish and we didn't feel as we weren't important as customers. The waiter didn't check up on us even once during the meal. When we asked for the check the waiter had summed up the cost of our orders without asking how we would've wanted to pay. Unfortunately we couldn't pay without cash since the restaurant's credit card machine had died so we had to go looking for atm nearby. The waiter didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Like all this wouldn't had been enough we got our change back in tiniest of coins. All in all, the medieval theme doesn't save this joint for a gimmick. There are much more better restaurants just a short walk away.More
The old fashioned, actually middle age’s style dishes where very tasty. You could really feel the time some hundreds years ago, quite romantic in a way. If you like good wine with your meal, then this is not your place but the beer is of...good quality.More
I liked this restaurant. The atmosphere is very authentic and medieval interiors create a nice atmosphere. There is a wide range of specific dishes on fireplace, a very nice selection of unique deserts and a very unusual herbal tee. I recommend going to those who...look for authentic historic, the restaurant is a bit pricey.More
